- Starling murmurations and lots of other wildlife, a lovely sunset, mist and fog. A great afternoon outdoors!
Edit: Most likely a Peregrine entering the murmuation actually.

I've seen this several times here in central Oklahoma. One time in particular it was so awesome I pulled off the road to watch. And I had two thoughts. One, what a wonderful display of nature. And two, why was everyone else driving by. I hope to never be so busy I can't stop and watch those special moments.
David Goodridge Agreed! It's a wonderful sight. Nature puts on some great shows.
I have been more than impressed by every video you have put up but you have definitely raised the bar with this one. Absolutely awesome.
Jason
primalarcher Thank you Jason. Day's like this are great, where lots of wildlife is about and put on amazing shows for us to see!
Two thumbs up for sure Donny.. I Have to say I do enjoy hiking in the fog it's like a different world isn't it . I think the best part of the video was watching the birds fly in unison.. It was beautiful and a little spooky at the same time... Awesome job is always Donny......
Bob808Knight Yeah, I love weather that's a bit different. Or times of day that change the mood of a place, like early morning, or at night. Fog and mist is magical..I always love that.
Thank you for sharing!!!! Just beautiful scenery!!! Shalom!!!!!
Another spectacular video, Donny. I love it. Nature doesn't get any better than seen through your eyes. Thanks for sharing, educating and offering relaxation to viewers. Peace, my friend. ....Ken
KennethKramm Thank you Ken, means alot :) atb..Donny.
A very well-filmed adventure. I appreciated that there were no human voices, rather words on the screen to identify birds. The mist, the green, the silence and finally the murmuration of starlings. A dream of a film. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks very much! And thanks to your comment I have just rewatched this myself, to relive the moment. Reminds me that although winter is again approaching, there's still so much enjoyment to be had outdoors.
Sensational viewing and so very peaceful ..Thank you for sharing
Great Vid Donny, Thanks... Cheers from Florida....
Skip to 8 mins in for Starlings.
That was incredible, really amazing!!!
Thank you for the video.
***** Thanks Mike. I love days like this, where the weather, the scenery, the wildlife all comes together just perfectly, to make an unforgettable day.
Wow, amazing.
Great video Donny, wonderful pictures of the expanse of wildlife at that nature reserve, and the starlings at the end were amazing. Atb Mike.
It used to be us laughing at the uk, where all things feathered was shot from the sky..
Now i see that the tables have turned.. ..what a grand spectacle. It d take weeks for me to find that host of species..
I last seen starlings flog when i was 12.. thanks man!
spijkerpoes It was quite a sight! Glad you enjoyed it...Donny.
8:23 you see what I am fairly sure is a Peregrine Falcon enter the screen from the right and stoop down at the Starlings and you can see it has another raptor there (probably its mate) giving chase as well.
Excellent vid Donny.
Very nice Donny it's an amazing sight.
I live near Eastbourne on the south coast and the Birds live under the pier structure.
At the end of the display it's like a Hoover is switched on and they all disappear under the structure in seconds to roost.
Love your videos

Tammockman Sounds great that! hah... Cheers...Donny.
Ah man what a stunning video! You always set the mood brilliantly Donny, and then what a way to end with such a spectacle, awesome!. You need to set yourself a task to get something on Spring or Autumnwatch...Fantastic my friend! ...Atb Nige
Stunning!!
Canoe and Trail - Outdoors Blog Thanks Nige. It'd be great to get something onto Spring/Autumnwatch. I always watch those programs. I'll try to work towards making some seriously good videos...I'm always looking to better myself. Better practice my narration voice lol.
Truly awesome filming, scenery and location. Mother nature is perfect. I cud spend all day somewhere like that, wish i had somewhere here. This filming shud b on mainsteam tv, defo. Beautiful, thank you.
GreencampRhodie Many thanks! It was a very enjoyable day. A place I shall return to again soon. I also love to travel through this area on the River Nene, in my canoe. Which I plan to do very soon.
Brilliant video. I'm sure the starling population is increasing, I remember seeing this 30 years back. It's a great sight to see.
Are you in the video/design business? Steve
C Veg Hopefully the starling population is increasing. They're actually on the Red List, with a 70% decline since the 70s. This time of year though, it looks like there's plenty! With the migrants that come in from Europe.
I'm not in the video business, I just enjoy making them! I do graphic design though.
Cheers bud...all the best...Donny.
A stunning video, very enjoyable.

Great video Donny, what's changed- am I to understand that have you've invested in some better equipment? I've really enjoyed what you've been posting after stumbling across your site a couple of months ago. The editing continuity also seems more fluid. All power to you Mr Outdoors... Brocktify.
For some videos I use my Canon 550D but here I'm just using my Panasonic V -520. The quality is not the best but it has good zoom. Mostly to improve my videos I'm just making sure I take well composed, smooth shots and getting good angles. I just enjoy making videos really, from recording to editing. All the best, Donny.
Great film, really enjoyed it:)
That was amazing!
Great
Wow! Magical moments in nature. May I ask what kind of camera you use?
Thanks, I'm just using my Panasonic V-520 as it has good zoom.
Beautiful. Amazing footage. I enjoy viewing your videos. Great eye and artistic format.
What camera do you use? I looked at previous videos; but must of missed it? Thank you & take care Donny.
Thanks. In this video I'm just using my Panasonic V-520. It has good zoom so it's ideal for wildlife. For some other videos I use my Canon 550D with better quality footage.
pretty cool man!
Beautiful, instantly subbed.
Some people ask, why do they do this murmuration. I say, because they can.
They do it to avoid Raptors trying to hunt them. I believe they also do it for other reasons but often you can spot Raptor(s) in the video as you can here at 8:23 a Falcon does a stoop and it has a partner there too.
Zen.
Hello! This happens down here in Brazil too, check out in my channel!
Enjoyed the video. i would prefer no music, just the bird sounds. The music was eerie. I finally watched it on mute.
glad to see that you guy's got mass starlings too! got to figure something to do with the starlings. i cant stand them they drive away other birds. invasive- pesky things they are.
