It seems to distort the signal with the blend knob past a certain point. Is this coming from the pedal itself or is it coming from somewhere else? I'm thinking about getting this pedal for a mini mxr pedalboard I'd like to build, but its no bueno if it distorts the signal...
I agree with your assessment on dynamics and how most compressors seem to "throw a heavy blanket" over my tone/sound. I've only ever used compression in the studio but I really like how you are able to dial your dynamics back in with this wee little guy! Thanks as always, Daric! Bass Clef '):
I see you aimlessly tweaking the knobs, fortunately there is an explanation what every knob does. But there is never a point in the demo when the compressor sounds better than the dry signal. You say you like the pedal, It would have been great if you had shown the setting you have arrived at for yourself.
FINALLY! A demo that actually demonstrates EVERYTHING the pedal does. I appreciated this video so much.
0:27 holy shit that was so serendipitously rhythmic
This is the most REAL pedal review I've ever watched! To just say "What sounds good to me" is what I wanna hear! Thank you! Newest sub here!
You sounds way much better WITHOUT the compressor 👏👏👏
Smoothing dynamics,
27 years ago used it because i was too dynamic ( sloppy ).
Good for getting more present harmonics, taped harmonics, etc.
BEST PRODUCT REVIEW THATS HOW THEY SHOULD BE DONE 😎
increase the sensitivity above 9:00 i want to hear the compression
Unfortunately, you seldom got the sensitivity beyond 9:00 and that IS the compression??????????
Great playing! Too bad the sensitivity knob is often way down, sometimes even at zero, so the pedal doesn’t actually compress.
I was struggling to separate my distortion sound from the guitars and compression seemed to really help.
Dayum! nice demo
Do your thang DB!
Will this work on electric guitar?
Bought is after watching Your Video.... wow impressive...
Ironically I just inquired about a compressor at Sweatwater 2 days ago. Straight to the point demo bro !

it's been distorting my signal too. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
@@basscubs you’re going past the limit. Back it off till the distortion goes away. This pedal will save your speakers

Nice!!
Hi, the fretlees bass is a Yamaha BB350 F ?
So it makes you quieter?
He never turned up the output all the way.
It’s only for slap?
Its a compression circuit. It should work for anything from keyboards to bass. Its basic electronics not magic.
It's only for slap.
Love ya man , your such a badass
SoundS gOOd. . . . 👍👍👍

Cleaaaaaan!
bypass is better..
finger style ? pls
Sounds way better when the pedal is off. This clearly shows that you shouldn't add a pedal if you don't know how to use it...
Liar
Horrible demo.
I agree.
