this is fantastic all around but I'm especially fond of the tempo. I've listened to every version I can find and this is by far one of the best in that regard. really good thank you

Lovely, tender playing, without losing the forward reaching and pulse, and all the voices are there! And while I'm here, thanks for your help on Tonebase. Your generosity of spirt shines through, in this Intermezzo, and in your teaching.

Brilliant phrasing. The longing of Brahms’ late style shines through clearly. There’s a great sense of Brahms as the traveling wanderer in this piece.
