We are looking at buying one, but we test drove one and depth finder wouldn’t pick up bottom at higher speeds. Guy said the unit needed to be lowered(transducer) but pontoons struggle with depthfinder at higher speeds. I have a different pontoon and pick up fish and bottom at higher speeds above 20mph without issue. The transducer bracket on these boats are mounted higher because of the little drainin the pontoon. Was this transducer just installed wrong? Can these boats track bottom and mark fish above 20-25mph? I look for stripers while moving at high speeds in summer, so it is important. Thank you for your help.
How does this do in serious tough water on Saginaw bay? 2 footers are nothing compared to what can quickly happen there. Not sure that's my boat of choice when you get the 4-5+ footers rolling. Think I'll stick with my cabin boat.
Hi Tim, most pontoon gates are 26 inches. If you are inquiring about this for wheelchair accessibility, you need a gate that's 32 inches wide. Qwest has an optional gate that will handle the width of a wheelchair. Alan Jones
I own a pontoon boat. I buy a new 1 every 10 years. I am so sick of covering my boat. I want one that can with stand the weather in the boating season months. I dont think I'm asking too much considering I could of purchased a 2cnd home.....
What a well thought out boat - nicely done! Question: Does the top retract to fit under low bridges?
Yes, it requires an Allen wrench but it can be done.

How wide are the side doors on these boats?

@@boatscribe So the small gates that are on the sides in this video are 26 inches wide? Great to know about the wider option. Thanks Alan!

is 150hp enough motor for the 822 or should i go with the 200?
On this model, the max is 175 HP and yes, the more power the better.
Twin 400
175 Yamaha SHO would be nice
Is there storage in the center toon on these?
Nice!

Console, not counsel...
Everyone in the midwest pronounces it counsel. It's just a thing.
