I wish I would have known this video existed sooner! I would have loved to have talked to him about it! Caring for him for the last few years was one of, if not the single greatest honors in my nursing career! He will be missed! He was truly one of the sweetest, kindest and most personable Veterans I've ever met! ❤

My uncle was in 1st armored. He was captured in the Bulge but escaped when he and the captors encountered americans. He told me that they were told to not have any German confiscated items as they would most likely be shot on site if captured. Also to limit family photos and such

This is why it's so important to fight for our freedom because sadly we have Domestic Enemies that hate the American way & take everything for granted not realizing how lucky they are living in the United States & want so desperately to change it because of there ignorance, so infuriating and heartbreaking for veterans like this Honorable gentleman who witnessed his young buddies the same age as him lose their lives that haven't even started yet and missed out on so much all for the sacrifice of our freedom, and I can imagine that it would be hard to forgive the Enemy for the thing's they have done like killing that American soldier all because he had a broken leg , I remember a bar I worked at years ago we had a Vietnamese girl that worked with us & we had a Vietnam veteran that was a regular, sadly he hated that girl all because she was Vietnamese , & probably because he witnessed some of the things the VC did to the American prisoners. All these Veterans have my respect 💯 percent 🇺🇲.

@@JohnDavis-yz9nq Take two! I really liked Patton. He discovered who our real enemy was and that's why they killed him. All of these strange things that are happening are not just occurring in the States. I live in Australia and the exact same things are happening here too. Check out an ex Australian Rules footballer and coach, Dean Laidley, who has now become a woman and is called Dani. The West is being deconstructed by that particular group of people whom we cannot name. It's now becoming intolerable to live in the West.

    • @henrykaye888

@@JohnDavis-yz9nq I completely agree with everything that you have just said. Unfortunately, Western politicians don't act in the average person's best interests and so that's why they never enacted your suggestions. Why would the US de-industrialise and transfer it's manufacturing base to China and thereby create a monster. It's just non sensical. I went to the US twice in the 80s with my parents and sisters and the US was miles ahead of everybody. Last time I went to the US in 2011 I couldn't believe how run down the infrastructure was. The US has been sabotaged from within. Australia is in a bad way too. We have been de-industrialised as well but luckily we earn a lot from mining royalties. Culturally though we are a wreck just like the US.

Governments simply see any men as a number…. Cannon fodder . They simply couldn’t care less, when you look at how pathetic the Sherman tank was in terms of protective armor it’s low velocity 75 mm gun not to mention its tendency to brew up burning the crew to death it was despicable.
