Kudos to Light for playing game 4 on difficulty level "hardcore" while Mini basically activated all the cheat codes.
It's amazing that after almost 25 years since the last patch there are still meta breakthroughs. For a long time, especially when zerg was dominating (queen and larva won 3 ASLs) it seemed dark swarm was just too OP and only unit immune is firebats, but firebats generally were thought to suck against lurkers but recently it seems like terran has figured out how to use firebats to beat dark swarm which is a scary thought as dark swarm is basically the only reason zerg can win past 15 minutes

When Artosis says that Zergs are fine as long as they have 70 supply, this is completely inaccurate. It is necessary to consider the supply ratio between the Zerg and Terran, as the actual relevant metric, when considering the chances of a Zerg victory/defeat.
From my observation over time it seems like the most relevant breakpoint is when the Terran is at double the supply of the Zerg:
-So for example if the Zerg is at 70 supply, and the Terran is at 140, the zerg will be teetering on the brink of defeat.
-If Terran is above 140 then Zerg defeat is almost 100% inevitable (even if Zerg still has 70 supply)
-Anything slightly or significantly below 140 and the Zerg maintains a slight fighting chance
-If Terran is near the mid point between 70 and 140 (around 90-100 supply), then then the game is at parity
-If supplies are even or Terran has slightly above 70 (70-80), zerg has a significant or even decisive advantage
The same principle appears to hold true for essentially any supply ratios: e.g. 30-60, 100-200, etc.
If this concept is applied to future or past games, it should yield high predictive value, certainly more than just an arbitrary "70 supply" as Artosis is fond of incorrectly stating.
Artosis is obviously speaking from a bit of a place of bias, however he's right in the sense that at 70 supply, Zerg can essentially seem 'immortal' and 'survive' for a very long time, especially if the Terran is not adept at laying siege to two locations for extended periods (usually you're pressuring the Zerg for an entire 1-2 minutes until they finally make a mistake and break through at higher levels)
Zerg is by no means 'fine' at 70 supply regardless of game state, just that they have skin in the game and can persist for some time longer, especially at the slower rate at which they will be mined out relative to the Terran typically. Though without a 4th gas, this is usually a death by a thousand cuts type deal.
@@XUNsc I agree that the phrasing he uses is that the zerg can survive with 70 supply, however, I would argue that again there are more relevant factors than the 70 supply figure in determining survivability.
For example, does the Zerg have defilers, does the Zerg have adequate gas, what is the terran tech, and most importantly the supply ratios.
For example at a certain breakpoint i.e. when the Terran doubles the supply of Zerg it just becomes a matter of math, where the excess supply can be converted into extra science vesels, drops, BCs, etc, and the Terran is able to leverage this into a decisive game ending attack.
I have seen many games where the terran supply is double, and the zerg is bulldozed by the terran despite having 70 supply or more.
So I would posit that the fundamental artosis premise that zerg can survive long at 70 supply would be proven false when backchecked in existing games, and applied in future games. The survivability of zerg is much better predicted by other factors.

Seems like you see it early and late, early because if zerg doesn't get sunken on time they just lose and late because mine are effective against ultra. My guess is vulture aren't used much mid game because they aren't particularly good against muta or lurker which is zerg main units mid game and terran is often barely holding on to the muta attack and would lose if they committed resources to vulture
