I’m pretty sure this happens when upgrading to a tower to a level with hidden detect when it’s already effected by another temporary see hidden buff. What I assume happens is that there is a timer to remove the hidden detect from the u it but if you upgrade to hidden detect that timer doesn’t get cancelled and still takes away the hidden detect. This has been s thing for ucav for a long while just like the other dude said.

Second, they Multiply the negative value of Scalar (0.5) to value of (Firerate&Threshold). That's why i'm studying 3D modeling instead of programming 😶🌫️. More because in the past I programmed a rhythm game and it took me 7 hours to just complete a song because it kept having problems, that gave me trauma.
There is one thing I noticed which is probably a bug, it can actually strip hidden detection from towers that naturally have it, and if I had to guess the other buffs aswell, I’m guessing since it puts it on a timer it just takes it away completely, so keep this in mind when using it, especially the lower lvls

The chance is: Value/(1+2.718^(-0.5*(Firerate of tower-6))) The "Value" here is determined by the level of the tower. I don't have access to the whole code so obviously I don't know what it is, but it's 0.5 at level 0 and 1 at max. Got those values by plugging in the values from the examples in the video
Necromancer might be meta with firework technician. From my tests (place the towers and spawn a bunch of enemies for 2 minutes) it seems yeah individual beam it shoots out counts as one attack. So you can get like 21 potential firework attacks with only 3 towers. Update: I think every hit a tower does counts as a tick. So from what I've seen executioner also works in deleting hoards. Unfortunately splash damage towers in the form of an explosion (i.e. mortar) don't work like this.
You can't even get it that much early, unless your using crate ability or your just skipping farming entirely. Its possible with cowboy strat yes, but at that point just go full cowboy and get lvl 3 instead of wasting money and possible eco by placing in a brawler. In terms if duo-squad your still better off with a suitable GOOD early gamr that has a more viable use like pyro and frostblaster, yes you don't get dps at all from them(neither does brawler anyway), but the defense reduction is still nice, and you'd already have 2-3 players atleast having a main dps tower like accelerator or engineer, so in a nutshell this isn't as op as you think, but it does give a gamechanging approach in hardcore.
heard someone say necromancers attacks count as separate attacks so it gives it 4 times the chance per attack, if thats true its got the best amount of fireworks per second by a big shot the percentage cap seems to be 0.5 for level 0 and 1 for max for the function that calculates the chance, its a sigmoid that starts to grow at x = 0 and halts at 10, y values going from 0 to percentage cap if we were to graph the fireworks per second we can get at different firerates by doing chance/firerate we get the shape of an exponential function and we find out that... higher firerate gets us more fireworks per second despite the decrease in chance, for minigunner we get about 0.36 fireworks per second, for necromancer its about double that if we account for the 4 times chance from 4 enemies baing hit

Just to clarify because it can be misleading, Yes this tower can reach crazy damage because it exploits other towers around it, however if comparison you have to keep in mind that Commander DJ & Mercenary base do this aswell passively. For exemple, a 20% damage buff on surrounding towers from Mercenary base will translate to a heavy team damage jump, which you can't see straight away as it is done as a buff. At the end this tower is nice either way, but in term of damage addition to the team, it does NOT beat Commander/DJ/Mercenary base, though it still pairs well with other support towers especially in quad (I don't see myself use it in duo over commander+DJ, unless we do need the detection buff). That said, this tower crushes Ace pilot's last niche of giving hidden detection, it urgently needs a rework especially after what Pursuit got.
@@Fiberoeatingfiber How, farm isn't changing and does not really need to, as for medics I get why'd you think it's outdated and I'd love a rework aswell but its stun-recovering ability niche is still viable. Ace pilot got absolutely nothing for itself now, mediocre damage which is not even reliable, for the HC detection the new tower is better on every aspect, and those who are going to mention Lucille live in the past as the best/easiest way to do HC nowadays is duo, and is even doable solo, and none of the modern HC strategies require ace pilot anymore.
In my knowledge Corso is the only TDS TH-camr who've made a GOOD review about this tower. Also video came pretty early considering the difficulty to calculate everything. Good job!!
This tower is easy to get and if y'all need a strat for the mission: - just do inter (2x)(1st quest) -play any mode to deal 500k damage(but easy not recommend bc might be slower)(2nd quest) - do molten 2x (solo if possible)(3rd quest) - play modes with high health bosses to deal 1M damage (preferably the frost event on hard or hc)(4th quest) - just do fallen 2x on ez maps (5th quest) (Corrected the wrong changes alr)

The best tower to hardness the crowd control capabilities of this is necromancer. Since it can shoot 7 streams at different targets, all those streams get their own individual rocket chance percent If you have 7 enemies close together it will shoot rockets rapidly at them since it’s the equivalent of 7 towers shooting with at 0.3 sec delay between shots sometimes achieving over 1k dps from one tower, or with a lot of towers it can reach much more
When the tower was first announced I really thought it was going to be a mortar tower and you would be able to place it on high platforms or on the ground and it has three different fireworks for each level like the first one has a sparkler firework and has short range and can hit multiple enemies at once, the third would have a ball firework that shoots up and falls back down dealing splash damage, and the final would be a rocket firework that shoots up and deals more damage than the ball firework but it would also send a additional firework up into the air and exploding so towers can have hidden and flying detection
Okay, apparently, the fireworks count each of necromancer's "rays" at max level as different attacks, so you can basically septuple (times 7) your odds of triggering the fireworks with necromancer. So I went into sandbox mode, spawned 100 "operation ice boss crystals" with the distance between the enemies being 0.01 (the lowest), and I put bloated, slime, & health regen on all of them. In the end, each necromancer dealt ~350,000 damage. But what was more impressive, was the fact that the fireworks technician dealt AT LEAST 11 MILLION DAMAGE. So yeah, this tower's OP with fast firing towers, but especially with necromancer.
I mean you allowed it to hit around 100 times more enemies as expected from such a small splash radius, so it'd be around 110K expected damage in a regular case. Which still isn't that bad...
I tried it the first time after hearing about how its op. Safe to say i was so clueless yet so impressed by it's power, (I had a mainly firerate dependant setup) I'll hopefully use this more and understand how it works

Corso i just bought your skin when it was in the back in the shop again and i have to be honest i love it it is actully wonderful just know that i am a big fan and i love your content and also im not begging for likes.
Given the fact that its mission isn't that hard (like you can do it on any map, just need to do Intermediate, Molten, and Fallen), it's definitely worth it. I soloed Intermediate, Molten and Fallen, and did a quad up PW2 for the 1m damage, but you definitely could get that in solo Fallen!
In Eggrypted's video, he also said that it removes Pursuit's hidden dettection, cuz the Pursuil will have too much immunities and abilities, like immunity to stomp and freeze, also lead penetration and HD, if it gets buffed by this tower, it'll loose its HD
I use electroshocker and I saw a firework shot out tds logic is getting better and when I was looking for what ever mission quest I can do and realize that I can do the firework mission again :D
firework technician might just be one of the best support towers like 2nd to best of even the best support tower giving towers a free detection hidden + ranger is really overpowered

AYO THE MIB IS IN THE GAME I REPEAT THE MIB IS IN THE GAME Context: The "MIB" or Monkey Intelligence Bureau is an upgrade for the Monkey Village (specifically Tier 3 Middle-Path) that allows all monkeys in range to pop everything (thus Leads, Camos, Purple, White and Black bloons are able to be popped by all monkeys. Side note: Leads are immune to sharp, Purple to Energy, Black to Explosion and White to Freeze, just as an fyi)
technically, the firework technician can dethrone the mortar in crowd control considering it gives firework effects to towers, if you pair it with towers like pursuit, mini or accel with quick firerates (and a little bit of luck), with 4 players having the firework technician covering most of the dps, it could be significantly better ALSO NO MORTAR GLAZES IN A CORSO VID 🦅🦅🦅🦅🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
So I did some testing in sandbox mode and I figured out that apparently. wenn a new round stars it doesn’t refresh the detection buff. + when gladiator has flying detection it swings its sword in the air trying to reach them. and slasher just straight up gives up.

The tower has a bug where if you upgrade a tower and it gets detections from that level while fireworks ability is still active, after the ability goes off ur tower who was supposed to have like hidden detection will lose it and only have that detection whenever firework techincians ability is still active
I always thought you would just use spam-shot towers for more fireworks but the fact that towers with longer cooldowns have bigger firework chances is clever.
i just got it and it was so hard to get since most of the players that i get to team up with in squads are just mostly annoying players cuz theyre SOOOO focus on their farms and not helping a bit

The best tower to hardness the crowd control capabilities of this is necromancer. Since it can shoot 7 streams at different targets, all those streams get their own individual rocket chance percent
If you have 7 enemies close together it will shoot rockets rapidly at them since it’s the equivalent of 7 towers shooting with at 0.3 sec delay between shots
sometimes achieving over 1k dps from one tower, or with a lot of towers it can reach much more

When the tower was first announced I really thought it was going to be a mortar tower and you would be able to place it on high platforms or on the ground and it has three different fireworks for each level like the first one has a sparkler firework and has short range and can hit multiple enemies at once, the third would have a ball firework that shoots up and falls back down dealing splash damage, and the final would be a rocket firework that shoots up and deals more damage than the ball firework but it would also send a additional firework up into the air and exploding so towers can have hidden and flying detection

Okay, apparently, the fireworks count each of necromancer's "rays" at max level as different attacks, so you can basically septuple (times 7) your odds of triggering the fireworks with necromancer.
So I went into sandbox mode, spawned 100 "operation ice boss crystals" with the distance between the enemies being 0.01 (the lowest), and I put bloated, slime, & health regen on all of them. In the end, each necromancer dealt ~350,000 damage. But what was more impressive, was the fact that the fireworks technician dealt AT LEAST 11 MILLION DAMAGE.
So yeah, this tower's OP with fast firing towers, but especially with necromancer.
I mean you allowed it to hit around 100 times more enemies as expected from such a small splash radius, so it'd be around 110K expected damage in a regular case. Which still isn't that bad...

Given the fact that its mission isn't that hard (like you can do it on any map, just need to do Intermediate, Molten, and Fallen), it's definitely worth it. I soloed Intermediate, Molten and Fallen, and did a quad up PW2 for the 1m damage, but you definitely could get that in solo Fallen!

In Eggrypted's video, he also said that it removes Pursuit's hidden dettection, cuz the Pursuil will have too much immunities and abilities, like immunity to stomp and freeze, also lead penetration and HD, if it gets buffed by this tower, it'll loose its HD

firework technician might just be one of the best support towers like 2nd to best of even the best support tower giving towers a free detection hidden + ranger is really overpowered

technically, the firework technician can dethrone the mortar in crowd control considering it gives firework effects to towers, if you pair it with towers like pursuit, mini or accel with quick firerates (and a little bit of luck), with 4 players having the firework technician covering most of the dps, it could be significantly better

So I did some testing in sandbox mode and I figured out that apparently. wenn a new round stars it doesn’t refresh the detection buff. + when gladiator has flying detection it swings its sword in the air trying to reach them. and slasher just straight up gives up.

The tower has a bug where if you upgrade a tower and it gets detections from that level while fireworks ability is still active, after the ability goes off ur tower who was supposed to have like hidden detection will lose it and only have that detection whenever firework techincians ability is still active
I always thought you would just use spam-shot towers for more fireworks but the fact that towers with longer cooldowns have bigger firework chances is clever.
i just got it and it was so hard to get since most of the players that i get to team up with in squads are just mostly annoying players cuz theyre SOOOO focus on their farms and not helping a bit
FYI dmg buffs work on the fireworks too
edit: it normally does like 40 dmg but when I had dmg dj with the firework guy it said 59
