Its absolutely a reference to Predator in the second Predator movie. The scene has a kid pull a toy gun on it while it's cloaked and injured. It scans the gun and sees its a toy and the scared kid asks "Want some candy?". The predator then mimics the voice and uses it later against the agents sent after it.
I always imagined the Were-Elk to be a cruel joke on Anna, and not Anna herself. It's something the Entity has made to haunt her in the realm given she watched her Mother be disemboweled by an Elk. The outfit it is wearing also bears resemblance to what her Mother would likely wear around that time period.
im surprised you didnt choose the blighted skin for legion as its frank fused with the bodies of every other member and you can see their contorted faces sticking out of his body
Vecnas skin and the story surrounding it also makes it worse. Sigil is a city where gods cannot physically exist, its woven into the very fabric of the realm. Yet vecna was able to conquer it whilst a god. He broke multiversal reality just to take a city because he was told he couldnt. Also, draculas' true form isn't what he really looks like. It's merely obe of the forms, he assumes, which lets him use the full force of his power as his magics are so potent they would destroy any normal being. (It's also about 60 feet tall in this particular body's game)
To add and being specific (or pedantic) about Vecna: In D&D 2E, Sigil was just "inaccessible" for the Gods, as the Lady of Pain (the guardian of Sigil and the Spire, aka the Axis of Reality) implemented a barrier of sort, preventing Gods to manifest in or near the city. Cue to Vecna, at the time a demigod and prisoner of the greater powers behind the Demiplane of Dread, also known as Ravenloft. He was pinned in an eternal conflict against his tracherous general, Kas the Bloody Handed, the very same that cut his left hand and eye out, creating the two relics. This was done by the greater powers in order to hold Vecna's attention and hopefully delay his scheming. It backfired spectacularly. Through a series of convoluted plots and intrigues, Vecna managed to: -Temporarily kill the greatest mages of Grayhawk through a powerful mage, possesed by the Eye and the Hand, cementing his legend, cult and the knowledge of the relics into the mortal realms. -Distract the greater powers of Ravenloft with several close calls to him manifesting directly into the citadel of Kas and potentially overpowering him, all the while perfecting the knowledge on soul transmigration. -Surreptisciously spread the rumor about his ascension to full godhood, especially to the ears of his old rival and demigod himself Iuz. Vecna also spread rumors about how, if he was struck with the Sword of Kas by someone with one of his major relics, he would be completely destroyed. Obviously, the last bit was all a pretense to lure Iuz into his prison-citadel of Tovag Baragu, don one of the relics and attack him with the Sword of Kas... a replica of it, anyway. As Iuz struck Vecna, the fake sword shattered, and completed a powerfull incantation that partially drained Iuz of his divine spark, fueling Vecna's own ascension. In the split second between Vecna gaining enough power to break free of Ravenloft's bounds and becoming a fully fledged God, he flung himself into Sigil, piercing through the ban imposed by the Lady of Pain. Then, Eli Cromlich, head of the Sigil City Guard and secret servant of the Whispered One, acted on a plan that was set in motion decades before, having corrupted more than half of the City Guard to Vecna's side and having placed numerous wards, glyphs and incantations to the Sigil Armory, the place were the Axis of Reality came closer and could even be manipulated by divine beings. In a matter of minutes, the City guard was either swamped by cultists rampaging into the streets, slaughtered by traitors amongst their numbers or annihilated by summoned black slaadi within the walls of the Armory. Cool thing about Sadako’s choice here is that she’s sprouting not just any flower, but the red spider lily which traditionally means rebirth in Japan, but with recent culture/media in Japan seems to link more to tragedy/death and a final farewell (e.g. Tokyo Ghoul)
Ghostsface party outfit, the red one, would be my pick, the story is just kinda sad how some students decided to try uplift the town ghosty was terrorising, and he still went there and murdered someone, to further dampen their mood
Don’t forget for the Dredge the Unwanted Toy Cosmetic, I think it is the negative Thoughts of a Child. The Child probably thought of scary Toys of something
Dracula's True Form is a Castlevania staple. Everytime he is defeated, he turns into a beastial true form, which ironically varies from game to game. The one in DbD hails from Circle of the Moon on Gameboy Advance, one of his cooler ones, imo.

I really enjoyed this. I love the detail in a lot of the killer outfits that most killer players really don't get to see during actual gameplay. Also, the Plague gameplay in the background was awesome, she's my absolute favorite!
Tbh with Wraith I would have gone with Phantom of vengance, being kind of the opposite of Wax Warlord, instead showing when he truly started to lose his humainty, refrencing the first time he killed, burning the soldiers that murdered his family and friends alive, under what is probably the first influence of the entity
I like the choices. Although I would have gone with "Toxic Bloom" for Hag. Basically for a similar reason you chose the Onryo one. She was/is so decomposed, that her body started to graft with her surroundings. The lore text says: "Her body was exposed to foreign organisms in a deadly realm." It implies that she mutates of some sort. Or alternatively I could also vote for the newest one "Black Widow", where she has some obvious spider characteristics. Reasons see above, it is this mutation aspect that makes Hag unsettling (more than she is anyway).
What about a Skull Merchant skin where she doesn't have a jaw, and it's replaces with a scary prosthesis with sharp teeth? I think this is more disturbing than the one shown here.
The Whispered One is also a reference to Critical Role, more like Legen of Vox Machina. They had to change names because Vecna is technically owned by Wizards of the Coast.
Personally I think Legion's blighted outfit is the most disturbing for the fact that it is an amalgamation of all 4 members with multiple faces and limbs fused together. The flavor text suggests that they are all in constant agony and torment. Even the weapon is disturbing with its original name being "suicide blade" (it was since changed to "separation blade")
The invasion of Sigil is a pretty impressive feat. Essentially, it's run by a sort of super-deity called the Lady of Pain. She is not statted, because she canonically has ultimate dominion over anywhere she'd have reason to be spotted, namely Sigil. Pissing her off is something that even peeps like Zeus or Loki avoid, because turning the target of her ire into modern art is just the start of her capabilities AT WILL. And Vecna was able to pull off shitting on her porch without getting splorch'd. That's gonna get you some street cred.
4:30 That’s what’s so terrifying about the serum it seems that destroys the individual skin and body making them where point they look unrecognizable and what’s worse that they feel everything 10:50 what I also found interesting of the war is hell cosmetic for the dredge is that it’s terrifying. it seems that this thing has been around for a very long time 😰
Does that mean that the Nurse’s physical body burns up at the molecular level each time she enters the ghost realm and then the entity reincarnates her when she comes out ?!
The part about Vecna's skin that's pretty horrifying is that The Lady Of Pain herself couldn't stop him from invading Sigil of all places, her own turf.
The Pyramid Head one is actually way worse. Masahiro Ito confirmed PH isn't a creation of James' mind, and the rest of the series heavily implies that there are several Pyramid Heads, all of which are different entities entirely and only look vaguely similar, but also implies they're actually made out of people that can't overcome their trauma in the town of Silent Hill. So PH is both a Survivor and a Killer. He's in constant suffering from his helmet and likey forcing himself to hunt people to torment his own soul even further, and is now blighted and in further suffering. Unrelated but it's hilarious that Vecna thinks he can invade Sigil. He isn't an invader, he's a guest on a time limit. If the Lady of Pain wants him gone, he doesn't get a choice.
My favorite for Plague is her cosmetic with maggots eating her alive. I agree that she preceves her powers as a gift and that she's doing it's bidding. 🧟♀️
I thought for unknown you were going to choose bonfire faire it’s disturbing not only in the fact the he was alive a long time ago but also because he lured the guard in a forest by calling for help
Video idea: rating cultural cosmetics for survivors and killers. Basically, rating how good their “cultural cosmetics” look and suit them (fire moon festival Yunjin and Trickster, Grim Matsuri Yui, Felix’s Oktoberfest outfit, etc). It would be especially cool if you could reach out to international DBD players and content creators to ask their opinions on the cosmetics.
Also... True form dracula is said to burn a pice of fog that tried to get close to him in his lore. Like a pice of entitiy tried to get close to him but he burned it with hell fire, and since his skin does not have a scar we assume entitiy let it slide.
Gonna disagree on the Sadako one,as the remains one is more disturbing as it confirms(outside of the well literally being in the menu) that it didn't just drag her spirit into the realm like it did for Rin,it also brought her entire corpse with it as well,so she's forever trapped inside the realm for eternity even if she doesn't realize it.
The Dracula skin is from the game Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for the GameBoy Advance. It's the form he takes in the second phase of the fight, after he lures the main character to hell and the eye on his torso is his only vulnerability. He is also much taller than a normal human, can disperse into a flock of demon bat things that fly around the eye, the snake tails vomit toxic bubbles and his shoulders can fire lasers
I saw a thumbnail of a dbd video describing cool cosmetics and one of them was the unknown taken the skin of a white poodle, lets just say if I wasn't scared to walk alone at night I am now
3:46 This has greater implications if you consider that he's forced to feed his Grandpa blood. Likely Type-O/Universal Donor Blood is most useful for this. Now that he's away from his family, he can still find it, but doesn't know what to do with it anymore so he just...stays covered in it
I think a neat video or maybe little series could be going over the lore of all the cosmetics? Like, if theres enough a video for each character? Idk, I just love that the different skins of the characters are actually more than just skins and they have lore.
i love the video!! i disagree on that being legions most disturbing skin though, id argue it would be the blighted skin since it basically all of the member's bodies melted together
Interestingly for those who never played a Castlevania game before Dracula's true form is based on the final form he takes on at the second/final part of his boss fight on Castlevania Circle of the Moon
If the Huntress is actually a were-elk, does that mean it’s possible that SHE killed her mom?! I mean, an elk is what ended up killing her mom. What if as a child, the Huntress didn’t have control of herself in her were-elk form, and one time in a blind rage, killed her own mother?! And maybe she only remembers it as a wild elk because the trauma of killing her own mother was far too much for her young mind to handle, so her mind changed the memory of what happened to something she could better handle. Maybe one of the reasons she now takes young girls is to be a mother herself to make up for killing her own, and she does this subconsciously, not realizing why she really does this. I mean, it would fit, especially since I’ve heard several people suggest that her dad was actually a werewolf. If it wasn’t an elk that killed her mom, the theory could still work too, and it’s just that her brain changed details even more to further separate the memory so she won’t remember it. What do you guys think?
Personally I think the Chimera one is worse but that outfit for legion isn't bad either. It reminds me a bit of other videogames characters like the regent(ninja gaiden) the star(house of the dead) and anarchy (batman)
Kinda surprised you did t pick the blighted legion skin cause it says that all the members are forced into Frank’s constantly in agony or something like that
The true form cosmetic is from Castlevania Circle of the Moon. Which isn't in the same canon as DBD/main Dracula, but now appears its true form is the definitive one. In the main games from Castlevania, his true form is inconsistent. In curse of darkness,he is similar to the true form from circle, but he is a huge magma bat demon. In Rondo of Blood!he is a gargoyle you mentioned. In the final battle of Symphony of the night,it is bunch of demons struck together manifesting out of Dracula's cape, while Dracula sits on a throne.
It took me forever to realize it. But Dracula's tentacles. They remind me of this shadow creature that possessed you in an edgy (and very 2000s game) I think your character is named Jack or Jackie? Anyway your a mob thug or something and the tentacles kill your girlfriend to get you to finally give in to their power. but I'm pretty sure the character picked self destruction.
It may be a far stretch but Billy’s Toad skin, something I learned about a prehistoric frog being the Beezlebufo, it means devil frog and considering Billy wants think of his self as a toad and wants to also attack his own parents while wishing to be a toad to attack his parents is interesting to me
tbh moris should be an additonal cosmetic option for Killers... having to get naughty bear just to see what 100% should have been a reworked trapper mori is kinda annoying
I hate this fact with a burning passion, so I choose to ignore it myself, but apparently according to the WotC lore people, "Sigil" isn't pronounced like the word "sigil" it's pronounced... "Siggle."
i love this type of content and its why ur one of my top 3 dbd ytbers. your voice is so relaxing to listen to (especially on your second chanel which people defo need to check out) and it provides me with a genuine love for the game very time, i dont just see it as a cat and mouse game but rather something more real and characters who have pain/ truama behind them rather than being cold and bland

i love the video!! i disagree on that being legions most disturbing skin though, id argue it would be the blighted skin since it basically all of the member's bodies melted together
Blighted xeno is nightmare fuel 😅
not a skin, but, unknown has said "have you seen my dog?" implying that he killed someone who was just searching for his dog.
Sorry, man. But I gotta disagree with the legion pick. The chimera blight is just way too messed up.
this is how some info vids shoud be, straight to the point
So for Sadako the flowers the red spider lilys i think that’s the name represent death. So she’s literally covered in death
Kinda surprised you did t pick the blighted legion skin cause it says that all the members are forced into Frank’s constantly in agony or something like that
7:26 i always thought castlevania Dracula's true form was the gargoyle demon one and the one from circle of the moon was a different Drac?
Anyway your a mob thug or something and the tentacles kill your girlfriend to get you to finally give in to their power. but I'm pretty sure the character picked self destruction.
skull merchant one hit literally my home cuz i was born in Fortaleza
Am I the only one who loves watching azhymovs' videos while trying to sleep?
I think they missed an opportunity by not giving Freddy a fire based skin like Nurse has, since thats how he died.
Why are you always using the most wild builds in the background gameplay
Never noticed until now why is he using huntress lullaby with no synergy perks 😭
Dracula's True Form is an adaptation of his second form in the Game Boy Advance game Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Annoying boss fight honestly.
9:56 I would think chatterer should be there as he is a child transformed into this monster
Weskers makes so much senbse. he is so power hungry that he would inject himself voluntarily if it meant he got stronger.
Really thought you wouldve chose the Cat Clown skins where he skinned cats for his outfit
Xenomorph clone almost made me throw up when i saw it
It may be a far stretch but Billy’s Toad skin, something I learned about a prehistoric frog being the Beezlebufo, it means devil frog and considering Billy wants think of his self as a toad and wants to also attack his own parents while wishing to be a toad to attack his parents is interesting to me
Nothing is too disturbing for doctor stnadards because herman always somehow sets the bar higher
3:32 Oh! Look! A Bloody Bubba :o
Just curious you think all killers outfits should have different or custom mori's base on the outfits?
tbh moris should be an additonal cosmetic option for Killers...
having to get naughty bear just to see what 100% should have been a reworked trapper mori is kinda annoying
i believe the two brains is a refrence to the alien games where the ai had two brains not to sure tho
Would have been useful to actually see the skins and not a cropped small rectangle
The floating city of Sigil is pronounced with a hard g, and it's illegal to pronounce it with a j sound within city limits.
Will we see a reverse? every killers wholesome outfit?
Not Felix DC'ing 3:10
Dam drac
In the future can you make an update one?😊
Your a really good vecna bro 👍🏻
5:50 mr wilson??🤨
Chimeric horde legion, my theory is blight injected them individually but had dredge consume them fusing them together
I hate this fact with a burning passion, so I choose to ignore it myself, but apparently according to the WotC lore people, "Sigil" isn't pronounced like the word "sigil" it's pronounced... "Siggle."
ace visconti
I tunnel Aces
@@masathyfirst2563 WHY 😭😭
@@DGF308 they’re just jealous that ace visconti is the coolest survivor to main ever
@@cupidbirds Yes indeed
Now rate houndmaster’s 2 outfits
Sick gameplay
i love this type of content and its why ur one of my top 3 dbd ytbers. your voice is so relaxing to listen to (especially on your second chanel which people defo need to check out) and it provides me with a genuine love for the game very time, i dont just see it as a cat and mouse game but rather something more real and characters who have pain/ truama behind them rather than being cold and bland
Thank you for another interesting video! It always feels good to watch your videos
I'd LOVE to play this game if it wasn't ruined by the playerbase
Yes finally I love Fact lore videos❤ you can see the knife on the wereelk the same weapon that Ana mom used plus u can see Ana mask on her and the dredge Greek legends skin is literally Ares the god of war
Lolololol ghost face hunting in the wilderness......he would be shot in a heart beat. Not a single person in rual area goes any where alone without packing at 3-5 guns out there
Except if they don't have a license
I don't even think the aquatic anomaly is blight, like his cat skin
I always found the Hallowed Blight Legion costume the most upsetting, as it fused them together and they aren't too thrilled about it
Bummer about the ratio for this video. The gameplay took up way too much of the scrren and the skins were way too small to look at.
I honestly didn't know there was some of those skins. disturbing indeed.
dead by daylight
Alive by sundown 👍
Miffed by Morning
*Hey
Do a tier list of how likely are killers to start a relationship with survivals 🙏🙏
I think the clowns outfit is also creepy because the makeup resembles John wayne gacys makeup
My theory is the were elk is huntresses mother reanimand fused with the deer that killed her
