What really sold me on this guitar is the neck. Epiphone calls it a 60's Slim Taper, which is a D-shape. I've got smaller hands, so it's super comfortable to play. Also, the coil-splitting is a huge bonus. You can get so many different tones out of this thing. Great demo, guys!
It's sure is good to have the boys back in the barn together again. This guitar has excellent tone, especially in the middle position, both regular and split!
@@TheLambLive I'm very much looking forward to having Dan try it on the channel. Sorry I missed your livestreams the last couple of times. I've really been busy trying to bullet proof my home against power outages. It's been a very expensive and daunting stressful experience. Seems like for every step forward I take 3 back.
Dan's playing on that guitar really impressed me. I have looked at that model before and thought that's one I'd like to add to the collection. This tells me I wouldn't be disappointed. If only I could play like that. The inlays reminds of the Ibanez artist series. Beautiful guitar.👍👍
You guys sure know how to do it right in Texas! Open carry unboxings are always the best!😂 That guitar is a beauty and it sounds fantastic! As always, Dan's playing was amazing. You guys take care!👍😎🎸🎶

Great review again Leo & Dan. That's a great guitar... I have one of those models on my "list" to get. Also great playing again. Have great day and night.
You know Tom, I buy a lot of guitars from Americanmusical.com. They are not sponsors of our channel or anything, but they have zero interest loans on musical instruments and no credit check. I'm paying $52 a month for this one.
@darwinwhitten8542 Thanks very much for watching, we hope you enjoy your new guitar. I gave this one to Dan for Christmas a couple of years ago, and he uses it for his backup instrument during gigs 😎👍!
Just received mine and the outer box looked just like that one but at least your inner box was taped and in good shape, how my guitar wasn't damaged is beyond me. I like the guitar, gonna lower the bridge though. It's a nice guitar, and it wasn't 4 friggin grand. I tried buying a Gibson and sent it back, what a sad experience that was to buy a Gibson for the first time in over 4 decades and to have to send it back really sucked, I will never purchase another Gibson, shame on them.
Thanks very much for watching Jim and for your kind comments. Ours actually didn't have any outer box I don't think. I already lowered the action by sanding about 1 millimeter off the bridge saddle. I could swear that I already answered your comment, but TH-cam Studio says that I have not so I'm giving it another shot. Sorry about your experience with Gibson, I won't have one personally. Thank you again for watching 😉 👍!
Liked and subscribed. I got one of the Sheraton 2 pro,s, really like it. Pick ups sound good. Great looking guitar too. I got the sunburst. Great playing there on that ebony colored one, really like it.
Bought mine 3 weeks ago, really enjoy the neck, sound and versatility - very comfortable to play and plenty of useable tones with the coil split ability. I really can play it all day long . Well, that was after sorting out a few things. The thing came from the factory with zero neck relief and action a bit on the high side. After adjusting the relief to Gibson recommended spec, lowering the action to my taste and adjusting the pickup height accordingly, it plays beautifully. Very happy with my purchase. BTW, I played 3 of them at the music store, there was one that somehow better bonded to me (the one I bought, obviously).
Great to hear, personally I haven't had an opportunity to play mine at all. Dan has of course on the channel, but I'm glad you like yours and enjoy playing it. There is a lot to be said about just having a couple of guitars. Since I purchase all the guitars for the channel I guess I am the worst guitarist to own 20 or so guitars in history. Lol 😆 Thanks very much for watching, and for your kind comments. I'll pass them along to Dan.
Very nice review brother!. Beautiful guitar with good looking inlay & I agree with the binding looks so gorgeous. Great playing Dan as always!!. Cheers.
Great video and awesome guitar, did they run out of inlays,I just can't wrap my mind around it,why stop the inlays at the 15th fret,I just don't get it,I'm to OCD for this
What a beauty and it sounds awsome! Unexpectedly the splitcoils sounds even better in my ears than the humbuckers do; cleaner, full and well rounded imao. Normaly i'm no big fan of "BlingBling" but this inlays fits the black body very well. Epiphone beats Gibson with this Sheraton in look and sound, a quite affordable pro guitar. Thx for the show
Thanks Leo and Dan for a clean review of the guitar. I just ordered one of these and I am having trouble finding a hard shell case. I have read that the Epiphone E519 that Epiphone suggests for it won't fit and I will need to buy an SKB 1SKB-35. Would you tell me what you are using or what would fit. Thanks
Sorry, but I'm using a gig bag for mine. I just purchased a Cahaya gig bag made for acoustic guitars and it fits nicely. Nice inexpensive gig bag as well 👍. By the way, thanks for watching and for your kind comments 😀👍.

Well idk if I like the pro 2 or the Emily Wolfe Sheraton or Casino tbh ? Guess I’m a little put off by the “tonewood” ply construction of these whereas the Ibanez’s and Hofner’s are real wood 🤷🏻♂️… but maybe that doesn’t really matter if they look and sound great 🤷🏻♂️
I really don't like the Emily Wolfe, the shape of the F holes causes waaaaaaaay too much feedback. Emily Wolfe doesn't like the Emily Wolfe for just that reason. I'm familiar with the Casino, but we've never done a review of one. I was actually going to get the Emily Wolfe, but decided against it and purchased the Sheraton Pro instead. Thanks again Chris for watching and for your time 😉👍!
… well BB King didn’t rate F-holes either 🤷🏻♂️ so there probably a lot of truth in that.. but the diamond holes and that Matt black looks real nice 😀.. Thanks
I'm sorry, it's not that it has F holes, but the unique shape of the Emily Wolfe (vagina shaped) F holes. They were of her own design, but for some reason they made her signature ES-335 a screamer, not a moaner 😉👍!
