Thank you for this video without distracting music. I have auditory processing challenges and I often cannot hear what people say, due to interference by music.
Thank you so much for that input! I hadn't thought of that, but that's another great reason for us to record our workouts without music (also the fact that everyone likes different music and it's easier just to let people play their own if they want it 😊).
Liked and commenting for the algorithm. I was a rower many years ago, and recently bought a C2 ergo to get back into it. I like to do row-a-longs to the UCanRow2 TH-cam videos, mixing up the different interval workouts to avoid boredom. Managing to shave time off the splits, but still wary of going into the pain cave for a 2K test.
Yay! Thank you for supporting the new version of the video!!! Love that you do the row-along workouts. Rowing only, or rowing with weights? PS: If you're nervous about a 2k, have you thought about doing the 4-minute test? th-cam.com/video/yEFLH6hDVeo/w-d-xo.html
@@UCanRow2 I do some dumbbell exercises too, mostly for the parts the rowing doesn't emphasise so much. Thanks for the link, I might well give that a go, although if I don't reach 1k I will probably cry😉
I hate the thought of exercising but I have always been drawn towards the rowing machine and love the entire concept and benefits of all in one stroke cardio and strength training how could anyone not love it.... Thanks so much for your explanations and demonstrations.
Welcome to erg ownership! You'll get a similar workout! If you find you really love it you may want to upgrade eventually but you can get a great workout on any machine. There are some differences with some budget machines. Have a look at this video, Cassi shares some great tips here: th-cam.com/video/S3wo8UeqDWA/w-d-xo.html

Did you try it?? Just remember, even if you don't get it on the first attempt there are always others!
@@UCanRow2 Done three, best so far 967m. Trying to find the balance between fly-and-die and leaving too much to do in the last minute.
Ooooh so close to 1k! That is the eternal quest -- finding that right balance.
Excellent Cassie best instructor on here Thks 👍👍
Thank you so much! We're biased of course, but we completely agree. 😊

Rowing is perfect if you're not a fan of exercising! It's a one-stop shop so you can get in, get out, and get on with your day. :)
