@@eugenepearson5939 Of course One Championship is better. Less rules equals more entertainment because you can really punish people for making mistakes. Mistakes like going for a take down. You can get kneed or kicked on the face if you try it. UFC doesn't let fighters punish take downs. If you miss a take down, then you should get kneed or kicked on the face so that you don't keep on trying it, unless you're THAT good at take downs.

Team lakay: "Either you win or you learn" -- This is getting old. Adiwang was exposed by his opponent. Team lakay has more than enough resources to hire the best jujitsu masters or even send their athletes to other countries to LEARN except that they believe so much in their striking that they forget to hone the other skills needed for them to become complete fighters. They simply cannot train by themselves.

John Dillon- How do you know that Team Lakay has enough resources to HIRE THE BEST JUJITSU INSTRUCTORS AND SEND FIGHTERS IN OTHER COUNTRIES? The Philippines is a 3rd world country with meager resources to HIRE and much more SEND FIGHTERS TO LEARN...When Filipinos go out of the country it is to work and fight!!
There are jujitsu practitioners and instructors but if they are the beat in the world is highlu debatable.
I agree though that grappling has always been the weakness, the underdeveloped dimension of pinoy fighting arts.
I hope our fighters can train combat sambo in Dagestan.

Most of team Lakays best fighters have one thing in common, they lost on both grappling and ground and pound. They are amazing strikers and great in the clinch but their ground game always fails them.

@@spamstabber That doesn't make much sense. Muscle length is proportional to bone length. Muscle size is related to genetics and exercise. There are plenty of 6 foot + men that are as ripped.
every Filipino MMA fighter,had nothing to do when they put on the ground,,..no training for grappling offense and defense,.,.they only had a kick boxing skills,.

Wrestling would be fine if there wasn't rules to make it easier for them. Look at the rules for UFC. One Champion makes it harder for wrestlers. Go watch fights from One Champion and you'll probably see more wrestlers getting knocked out on there. I think a lot of these stand up fighters should move over to One Champion. UFC is the past. One Champion is the future.
