Also if your wondering how y=Root(4-x2) is semicircle, the entire circle on a graph is repsented by plus and minus Root(4-x2), here we only take the positive value, so its half the circle

1st portion is odd SO simple zero.2nd portion is even,if one not able to visualise the semi circle for 2nd part,then he can simplyl substitute x=2 SIN (THETA) and integrate from LIMIT 0 to PI/2
Easy model of application of kings and queens property by substitution of limits then using general result of integral root a^2-x^2. 👍a 45 sec sum on paper or 1 min sum by mind without pen and paper. Will never take this much time and the method sir used is elaborate( good) but not effective in an exam .

@@anmolgoyal5604 no, it isn't as simple as that. 22/7 is just an approximation for pi and is not its exact value. You can see that when you solve 22/7, you get recurring numbers after some digits which isn't the same as in pi, since digits don't repeat in pi.

2nd part of integral can also be easily evaluated by using the formula integration sqrt a^2-x^2 dx =x/2 sqrt a^2-x^2 +a^2 sin inverse x/a +C
Even i thought that but sirs method was easier in case you forgot such big formula
graphical approach is better since it's just area under a semicircle
Graphical approach shows why you get arcsin in the integral of sqrt(a²-x²). It's better to do it with intuition rather than mugging up formulas.

This was an easy question tbh, I solved it in about a minute, but the tricky part was getting the first eight digits of pi, which sadly I don't know.
You can yourself solve 22/7 and get these digits.No need to remember
