- Nvidia (NVDA) will post its first quarter earnings for the 2024 fiscal year next week, with many on Wall Street watching closely as the tech giant led recent rallies in the tech sector. One of the chip giant's competitors, AMD (AMD), has just partnered with Microsoft (MSFT) to offer its products to Microsoft's cloud computing customers.
Wedbush Equity Research SVP Matt Bryson and Truist Securities Managing Director William Stein join Market Domination to give insight into what investors should expect from Nvidia's earnings, how AMD stands in the sector, and how investors should navigate the chip sectors.
Stein argues that Nvidia's short-term future is most likely successful, but uncertainty mounts down the line: "I think certainly they're going to beat this quarter. And I think they're going to beat in the out quarter guide as well. But I think the real question is what happens through this year and into next year's numbers. Does the company give us an indication that we're going to continue to see growth and very strong demand, both for units and for integrated systems, where the company is getting the growth from?"

Jensen didn't get here by chance. It was decades in the making. Maybe he knows something about the business that the strategists don't.
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.
Please can you leave the info of your lnvestment advsor here? I’m in dire need for one
Laila artine kassardjian' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
All eyes on Nvidia next Weds. NVDA is the stock that can save the world!
Been beating myself up a bit that I sold my 53 shares of NVDA at $303 each back in May 2023. Now thinking of liquidating a few other investments to rebuy but afraid to do so. I also currently have 500k in savings making me next to nothing.
Everyone needs a Margin of Safety in their portfolios and just remember, It's time in the market versus timing the market.
so far ahead..a year out??? to forecast from now??? crazy...
Stay inn
I agree that AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA last year.
I bought NVIDIA around September because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.
I've been in touch with a financial advisor ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
@@maryHenokNftKudos on the effective execution of innovative ideas and tactics that lead to significant advancement. As I seek guidance from a trustworthy advisor, would you be willing to share details about the individual assisting you?
The decision on when to pick an Adviser is a very personal one. I take guidance from *Gertrude Margaret Quinto* to meet my growth goals and avoid mistakes, she's well-qualified and her page can be easily found on the net.
I copied her whole name and pasted it into my browser; her website appeared immediately, and her qualifications are excellent; thank you for sharing.
There's no reason to own AMD when you can own NVDA.
Spot on.
AMD got nothing on NVDA, it only exists so it can be classified as a monopoly.
Lol
No duh, no stock.can quadruple every year. Some of it is real, some is hype. Eventually it will normalize around medium to long term fundamentals. I wouldn't doubt it if it lost 50% of its current price, but it would still have more than doubled.
but good call on the ecosystem, software and innovation
I can see the stock trading up to sideways as the p/e ratio comes back down to Earth. I think the units sold will continue to grow, but at some point the margins will begin to shrink. My guess is that will be several years out. Between now and then the stock will run up, dip, consolidate, and run up again several times.
Fourprime will 100x this cycle.. i'm buying everyday 🔥🔥
NVDA is the one and only complete AI hardware ecosystem, AMD is only partially good, yet considering AMD is the second best substitution for the booming AI development it’s also very important. The real question should be asked here, is how much bigger this AI phenomenal will be come globally, and who’s going to dominate this AI hardware and software advancements. I strongly believe that it’s an extremely important moment.
Matts thesis is AMD is only alternative to NVDA? Thats not a great way to pick a stock. Mr Stein knows his stuff, NVDA technology stack sets it apart. Long NVDA!
NVIDIA will blow away earnings and it will double in price in the next 2 years.
Excitement is building up as Revux emerges as the next big thing in crypto. Get on board before the wave takes off!
Yahoo going hard on negative NVDA propaganda this week, are they in the bag for some billionaire shorting it or something?

Sigh, another "strategist" who can predict the future.
Nice try to shake out the weak hands Wall Street 😂😂😂😂
Glad I continue with sticking with my bank saving MMA and saving certificates! Best investment decision I ever had!😊
There isn't a good alternative to Nvidia.
And the lead time went down because people forget the chip shortage there was a huge backlog due the Covid
Production has been ramped up to meet demand nvidia can barely keep up with demand lol
lol grasping for straws lol
The blue shirt clown tries to impress market, let's see how much he will eventually lose
LOL what a bushit analyst. the lead tume cut is not from demand. it is TSMC finally increased the CoSoWo pavkaging by 200%
The chip is old. IBM already has a Quantum Computer. That is why The government gave Intel the money because it is safe. Two other companies have better chips. Remember AMN is the chip behind the chip maker. Nuvidia already has a New chip. Called black Well. AMD and other companies are making a better choice
