I couldn't wait to get your take on the shooting!! I have been labbing in myteam, and it is really difficult!!! It is going to cause many players to select only a few players with favorable shots. Even with rhythm shooting, depending on the player, it is very difficult to time.
@@lexxon11 Yeah I don’t mind the harder shooting for Park because you only controlling 1 Jumpshot and you have so much control over the attributes, badges, animations but for the other modes I’m not a fan

Sbmm doesn’t bother me as much as the shooting has. I don’t mind losing games when it’s close. What I do mind is all 10 players playing hot potato until someone is inevitably forced to have to shoot a 3. Just for it to be slightly early or slightly late. Sick of it. I didn’t mind defenses being rewarded for contests. They should be. Bro NOBODY wants to shoot man. And then you’ll brick a wide open layup 😂
It’s crazy that there is SBMM for theater. I think they should keep it in solo/random rec, though.
I for one enjoy the change! I remember getting really mad at the meta early last year because they allowed whites to go in on poor shooters now I can play zone effectively!
personally im frustrated cause i've been an elite shot creator for years, i know a million different shot timings of middies, fades, post shots, stepbacks, etc which is my "2k superpower", having a super deep bag. but now that defense and contesting shots is nerfed and shooting is capped so hard I feel like i'm not rewarded for cooking people anymore .. im better off just dunking the ball or running a super high steal / speed byild and running the break ...
@@cstarcrusher Yeah I feel you. That’s why I said what’s the point of these shot cancels/shot creation, go to shots, changing contests, etc if you can’t make a shot.
The CPU in my career is just way to overhauled with Rebounds and Shooting like omg they never miss..and when they do..they get rebound after rebound then score on the third shot like come on 2k. You want our shooting to be realistic but the CPU is just on God mode. Smh

Dude, I just wanna say use rhythm shooter I’m shooting 60% plus ever since I started using it. I promise you it will make such a huge difference once you learn how to use it to dribble with it. You’ll become a demon, especially for those who have a really high three-pointer, I only shoot with an 85 three-pointer and I shoot 60% from the three my advice is to put it on normal risk with the rhythm shooter and then put it on high risk. It will make a huge difference.
@@Funny-shorts-tiks Yeah I’ve been practicing with it more recently. Especially on Stepbacks and post fades because I use the analog on those shots anyways so I might as well flick the analog back up instead of just letting go. Rhythm shooting is really good once you get enough practice
Wrong for me. I shot 70 percent last year, I got a 95 three and the shot meter is bullshit for me
I personally don’t mind more realistic shooting % I just wish we could have a pure green window like the beginning of 24. That was a real skill gap. I think whites should never be a thing. I don’t get why they brought that back along with real player % in online game modes smh. I think they could nerf the passing lanes a bit. I’ve seen some crazy interceptions but overall I hope they keep shooting cause atp it’s no point in buying 2k release date
I’m new to the game. I’ve been watching a lot of your videos. This is off topic but where do you go to find out what the play art means. They must have move it because it is not in the place you said it was in your 2k24 videos
@@KennethEddington-mk7bf From the main menu go to learn 2k > practice plays and pick your team. When you in practice plays, the menu at the bottom will have a “help” button (X/square) and it’ll show you what playart means

i'm sick of 2k crazy on VC. so i play only myNBA.
I have a center with a 74 three hittin crazy I shoot 55% but I also have a pg with a 94 three..you have to shoot with the stick it’s a bigger green window ..I shoot with the stick off dribble after doing combos it ain’t hard just gotta practice

I just hate the how money and attention hungry 2k is. If they released a demo or a beta a few month in advance (like every other game does) for EVERYONE to experience, none of these problems would exist. Now the game is out and things like skill based matchmaking and the shooting are really making me want to put this thing down.

Bro the shooting is inconsistent. I’ve been using the same shot cue from last year in this year 2k and it’s just not working so I changed the cue and I’m still shooting bad. Like I know I’m shooting on cue 🤦🏾

I sboot 50 on my 90 3 point guard I would say I’m a elite player I have no issues with the shooting still think it should be green or miss though

my biggest issue is making whites should never be a thing, it should be green or miss. if they keep whites then they need to add back the pure green window. having ppl get bailed out for not greening open shots is absolutely horrible for the game. on top of that real player % for layups should also not be a thing. 2K killing the skill gap by making shooting feel random as hell for people who use high risk yet these randoms that can't learn shot timing for shit can sneak a win by hitting a couple whites in the clutch, absolutely hate that.
@@cm8152 Yeah I hate that whites go in and real player % shouldn’t be a thing online. High risk basically puts you at a disadvantage, I really wanted to use it but it’s not worth it right now
