Yeah, well Blooddrunk ain't that bad but not hate crew death roll or are you dead yet quality. Relentless, reckless forever is a step down quality wise but as he says Halo of blood is a step up again and I worship chaos is a superb album.
The drummer's name is Jaska Raatikainen (Yah-skuh Rah-tic-kai-nen). He's an original member and is on all the albums! As you head into Blooddrunk, I'm not sure how the COBHC at-large feels about that album, but I thought it was pretty solid. Jaska is still SLAYING it on the drums, Janne is shreddin the keys, Alexi is Alexi. All good stuff!

New to the channel...You made me like children of bodom. I never before liked any bands or any songs of that genre. I so agree the drummer is great and clever suprising as the rest of the band! Not my type of signing but somehow COB makes it right. I listened to the four first album straight and made me think of Iron Maiden golden area. Great albums back to back and no skip as youyouyou say!
Blooddrunk ain't that bad actually, sure a few weaker songs but as a whole not that bad. It's a bit more thrashy i would say compared to the older stuff. Relentless, reckless forever is a mixed album, quite different from all their other stuff for sure. Tonality it's a thowback to the more natural sounding mixing and not as sharp sounding. The songs on that album are in my opinion weaker but not all bad, they have a certain groove. And after that album it gets better again!
Next albums after this album are underrated..dont listen what people say.. i mean Blooddrunk album has Hellhounds on my trail (the best opening track just after Needled 24/7 & Deadnight warrior)...the good ballad Banned from heaven and ends with insane Roadkill morning! Stable and heavier album! Personally i think this AYDY album is one of their weaker because some songs are not that powerful, to get that special bodom feeling...some songs just too much "jazzcircus" going on, like bastards of bodom the worst bodom song ever! Relentless, reckless forever album is interresting, listened to that album alot in car cause never got bored of it! Hilarious video youyouyou again XD
Melodic Death Metal is your genre for sure. I recommend Crimson II by Edge of Sanity, the whole discography maybe not in your taste, but that album is masterpiece and right up your alley.

Go back and listen to Hatebreeder, it's their best album. Blooddrunk is fine, but not great. I don't know about the other albums... Also, you should continue the DEATH marathon. Children of Bodom was my favorite band, but now it's easily DEATH.
