I showed up to the flash movie with a reverse flash shirt on, expecting for the movie to at least TEASE him. But I left with a lot more things in common with Eobard than when I went in to the theater.

The running in the film looks like he’s ice skating on concrete, I really hated that tbh. It looks so awful, I mean even the Incredibles made the running superhero better, like when Dash discovers he can running on water and has the most mischievous smile.
someone needs to teach flash proper running form, he could get a million times faster if he just did that 💀

I enjoyed it a lot, but it had some stupid stuff holding it back. Some great scenes, then there's bad CGI that ruins immersion. Barry's scenes with his mom are great and intensely emotional, but then we have Supergirl & Keaton's Batman who have no arc. Ezra being a horrible person in real life, grooming kids & being a cult leader, keeps me from recommending it
Who Ezra is as a person in REAL LIFE makes a MOVIE of The Flash a bad movie?? That makes no sense.

It was at least a somewhat fun experience. Also, I kind of like how younger Barry is technically implied to be faster than older Barry cause his lightning is blue.
But that was because of the suit? The suit made older Barry's lightning yellow because it kept him from catching on fire, without it, it would be Blue.

@@zqninja3334yeah. But the animators didn’t care to follow the comic book standards where blue lightning trails come off of faster speedsters and orange lightning trails come off of regular speed speedsters.

It's almost like you didn't watch the movie. Both of them have blue lightning. Older Barry has blue lightning when he's not in his suit. As soon as he puts it on, it's yellow.

I can almost forgive the Underwater running. If he's running so fast, it would for sure feel like you're running through water because the air would be so dense(more like syrup and beyond)... but still looks goofy

The two best scenes in the movie was bens Bruce talking to Barry and Barry saying bye to his mom. Sasha was good as supergirl and Michael was good as Batman. After Barry gets his powers back though, they shouldn’t have rushed into the final battle. Could’ve had more character moments but that battle was so bad and the cgi characters through Barry’s perspective is so bad and dumb, we saw in Snyder cut Barry’s perspective
This makes me feel weird about critics... you wanted there to be MORE SCENES?? What more did you want? What do you mean the battle was terrible, what does that even refer to? It doesn't even matter because the quality of the battles didn't mean anything towards the whole point which was no matter what happened, Kara and Batman were going to die, and they were going to lose. Period.

The entire movie was about how you couldn't go back in time and just replace the Flash that was already there. Had these issues throughout the movie. Then they decide "we'll just have both Flashes going back in time to stop deaths and fail every time. Then we'll have 'Teenage Flash' continue to do it a billion times." Problem is, had they followed the rules they set, every time they went back to fight, there should have been two extra Flashes fighting, add 2 for every time they change things. Then by the end there should have been some infinite amounts of Dark Flashes to stop the deaths easily due to the sheer amount of Flashes there.

@Kazwix I just don't understand why I have yet to see anyone talk about that. Beginning to wonder if I had just missed something in the movie, lol. I think people are so torn on it, or just hate it period, that not many people are really looking at the story.
So they were actually supposed to show reverse flash as being the reason behind his mom’s murder, i think it was supposed to be explored in part 2 of the movie

I have a friend who loves the flash, but he refuses to watch this because he heard it was so bad. He doesn’t want to see his favorite superhero done dirty I guess. I also love the flash and I’ve watched it twice. I would have watched it again, but they pulled it out of theaters.

I don’t really mind the movie, but I’m probably not gonna see it again, not many of the jokes really landed with me and at times it felt like they only had half a movie…like, Kara says she doesn’t need to care about humans, flys off, sees one military group get slaughtered and is suddenly all for saving humans…the suit looked decent at times, but often looked awful…and in my mind Batman was the best character…ironically enough, Flash was my LEAST favorite character in the movie…but I will admit a fair bit of this probably stems from me having already seen and grown used to Grant Gustin’s depiction of the character in the Arrowverce…this movie isn’t BAD…Ezra just isn’t my Flash

I think these expectations of the movie is what made some people like it a lot more. Without ezra miller's downfall and the production issues, this movie would've probably been overhyped and no one would have enjoyed it as well.
