Thanks for the video. I was paying a yearly subscription for a recording app on my Windows computer but now I use Linux Mint 20.1 so I was looking for a simple recorder that is less complex than OBS. I think that this one will be perfect and I thank you for showing me around the app.

I tried this today..my PC doesn't have Webcam and Mic..played one video and tried to record..it has recorded video but there is no sound..what could be the reason?

​@@icmpune166 Please have a look at the microphone tab.
A cross indicates all audio is recording is disabled.
1) In the microphone tab - Tick the audio check box.
2) To record internal audio i.e audio of playing videos, songs or any sounds generated by computer you need to enable -- Monitor of Built-in Audio
I have tested this. Hope this helps

Try using a mic while recording audio instead of the laptop's internal mic.
Also set mic recording level, high input level can cause distortion.
