If it was by accident, it was by accident. I'm pretty sure female ballers have hurt male ballers as well. It is a physical sport, after all. Males should also have instincts not to take things too far since the female is the weaker vessel. The least you can do is defend her correct if she *is* a real baller though. Male *or* female-if someone doesn't respect your game, you naturally get upset about it if you're a real competitor.

I played soccer and futsal (indoor soccer on a basketball court, 5v5) back in high school. Whenever we played a co-ed or all girl team, which wasn't all too often, I didn't change anything about how I played. I remember this once futsal game, the ref tried to tell me to stop playing so physical against the girls, and acted like I was only doing it because they were girls. I was like, chief, I'm playing the same way I would against anyone. If I commit a penalty, then blow the whistle, otherwise I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing. That's something I'll never understand, is no one is making you play in a male/co-ed league. So don't complain when you can't handle the improved skill and physicality of all the other players in it. It's like if a kid plays up a year or two. The only way that's going to happen is if he has the talent to do so, and if he can't keep up, it's on him; he shouldn't be in that league in the first place. The general sentiment is not that you can't play up a year or two, or that you can't play in a male/co-ed league as a girl. It's just that you have to be at the same level to do so, and you can't complain when people don't go easy on you.

I was once playing 2 on 2. The guy on my team was a bit too cool with it and started jacking up a bunch of bad shots, but then his check who was a girl started getting a bunch of easy layups on him in a row so they actually got a lead on us. Next play, she gets by him again, so I decided I'll come over and help just to stop the easy layup, but when she went up for the layup, I instinctually jumped up with her and absolutely spiked the ball. I felt bad cause I was like a at least 6 inches taller than her and weighed like 50lbs more than her, but at the same time the semi-competitor in me didn't wanna lose that game from a girl getting open layups the entire game.
I hooped with a 6 footer before and I'm 5'5. It was fun. He was throwing my shot and I was laying him up. We were both having fun and it was no hard feelings on either side. Shook hands after it. We don't mind a good game. It's the fouling BECAUSE we're weaker that we hate.

I was once playing 2 on 2. The guy on my team was a bit too cool with it and started jacking up a bunch of bad shots, but then his check who was a girl started getting a bunch of easy layups on him in a row so they actually got a lead on us. Next play, she gets by him again, so I decided I'll come over and help just to stop the easy layup, but when she went up for the layup, I instinctually jumped up with her and absolutely spiked the ball. I felt bad cause I was like a at least 6 inches taller than her and weighed like 50lbs more than her, but at the same time the semi-competitor in me didn't wanna lose that game from a girl getting open layups the entire game.
I hooped with a 6 footer before and I'm 5'5. It was fun. He was throwing my shot and I was laying him up. We were both having fun and it was no hard feelings on either side. Shook hands after it. We don't mind a good game. It's the fouling BECAUSE we're weaker that we hate.
