- Now we join Pierre "Mad Dog" Lefebvre, the other half of the team known as The Assassins of the Ring, in singles action as he battles Montreal undercard staple Yvon Laverdure. With his squat build, chest + facial hair, singlet, and tough-as-nails style, it came as no surprise that Lefebvre eventually earned the billing of Mad Dog, even feuding with the originator of the namesake, Maurice Vachon. Lefebvre saw his greatest successes working home in Quebec and Puerto Rico, but also saw action in Georgia, Texas, the Maritimes, and Japan. This bout features Edouard Carpentier & Guy Hauray calling the action from the CHLT-TV Studios in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Any corrections or additional info would be appreciated.
I don't think muscular Laverdure ever won a match, but he makes an excellent jobber.
I loved the Maddog watched him in Detroit when he got started he was a baby face back then Rip ❤️.
Lefebvre on good form here, dishing out the punishment on his hapless opponent with great style and determination. Nice finish, too.
LOL. He was humping his head for the submission. (His opponent's head tucked right between his legs and under the crotch).
Kerrie was one hairy bear wrestler next to the well built muscular Yvon
love Maddog. From George Cannon promotions. He started as a good guy. He was going to be a star. Maddog, with more size then Maddog Vachon,. Rip Both Maddogs.
Yes I remember him Maddid LeFive, as a baby face then bad guy heel. He use to tour The Sheik, area and would have been a Superstar somewhere. Very sad how his life ended. RIP.
BTW the commentators are Édouard Carpentier and Frenchie Martin (future WWF manager of Dino Bravo).
Frenchy Martin, better known in Puerto Rico as "El Valiente Pierre Martel."
@maraviyoso8473 Yes sir, back when he was teaming with Rick Martel's brother Michel.
@@jonathanturbide2232 the thing is that right after Michel's death, Pierre Martel turned babyface and he became "El Valiente Pierre Martel (The Brave Pierre Martel)." He remained a babyface for the rest of his long run in Puerto Rico.
@maraviyoso8473 Thanks for sharing! I know Frenchy had a hard time accepting Michel's death, he felt guilty that he couldn't help him and it stayed with him for years and years. They were as close as brothers. Rick's drive came from losing his brother, it's what gave him that extra motivation to really make it in wrestling, for his brother.
@@jonathanturbide2232 you're welcome. For many years, Canadian wrestlers have performed in Puerto Rico, both from the Francophone side and the Anglophone side. Abdullah The Butcher, Roddy Piper, The Martels, Mongolian Stomper, Leo Burke, Joe LeDuc, Monster Ripper, Jason The Terrible and, probably one of the most over "foreign" wrestlers in Puerto Rico wrestling history, Shane "The Glamour Boy" Sewell.
What A Magnificient Animal
Wow, crushing his victim's head with his crotch. Lefebvre must have been feeling mighty good down there! Nice cruel submission!
r.i.p the great heel
Yvon Laverdure------totally hot
Sheeza Mann ....I love strokin while watching him hump off on the back of Yvon's head in the stump pullers...and like a true studly, bully-like heel, he continues humping the wimp's head after submission, enjoying throbbin one off in his singlet....what a hot fn studhorse of a man
libra42ful totally agree! Nice and hairy like a real man should be!
Lefebvre was meant to have a great future, sadly he died in a car accident in December 1985.
When you are as muscled and attractive as Laverdure and can sell a beating as well as he can, expect to spend your time in the ring getting punished by big, hairy, nasty alpha heels for our enjoyment. Woof!
total and complete emasculating beating...and a great humiliating submission hold finish...hope he washed his hair shortly after the match, lol, because I'm pretty sure there was some manly "spunk" in it
