Not bad...the only other thing missing on it that I would want on a starter is space for a set of growing blocks (I'd also want a full set of medical devices, but those can be stored and swapped in and out as needed.)
Yeah, that was the challenge with it... resisting the urge to build bigger. I have starter ships, and there's a whole library of them from other authors. The point here was to make a cheap shuttle that could be forgivable if you choose to discard it for a mid range CV, or just something to link you up with other faction mates.
Then it worked as intended 🥳. I have starter CVs as do practically every other builder. What I wanted in my catalogue was a ship that could give people the option to move to another destination quickly and affordably (with style), before moving on to a more dedicated starter or even mid game CV. The reasons for people wanting such a shuttle vary from linking up with other players/faction mates, to seeking out more resource rich planets for more dedicated CV spawning options. As a builder, believe me it was a struggle to fight bloating the build to accommodate greater longevity, but if I did that i'd just end up with another Taurus or Gozanti, and lose the point of having a build that gives the player a cheap micro CV option. That being said, I do have a "Super Kestrel" planned, which is a slightly bigger build with a few more turrets and space for a full size shield :)
Thanks for answer, the copit roof is very thin and when i spawned this cv on starter planet (i dont rember well it was either Anvil-Re or HWS-RE server) i got immediately attacked by drones, till i refueled and loaded the weapons the drones dealed significant damage to the CV Hull espacially the copit roof.for my tast it needs a bit more armore to withstand drone attacks in early game when yo still do not have shields. But i like the design, its looks cool
I have seen another youtuber use the paint gun (even in regular play) where he copies colors and textures with a click of a button. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT!...lol. I looked at key binds and didn't see it. I might just be blind but in nearly 1.5K hours I never seen that before!

A post in bp sharing for those playing from Epic Games, please?
I am always blown away when people can make CVs look like SVs and still but important devices on board in such limited space, respect!
Thank you Lee
Very sleek design, I honestly thought it was a sv. And it's bigger on the inside too. Very nice
Thank you Lyken :)
I can only echo what others have said; love the way it looks, its low profile and the cockpit. Nice piece.
Thank you. Yes, I wanted a sleek low profile for it, rather than something bulky.
Love it, and really enjoyed your build streams of it. (Especially the naming part and the "Ace up your sleeve" texture part) :D
haha shh :)
This is a really sleek design. So many upgrade options. Nice work!

@@lyfeforse7038 Very Nice Starter
Is good looking design, i tried this cv but it did not convinced me, it works only i very early begining but it quickly reach its limits .

There a good way to upgrade its fuel capacity? or upgrade it existing tank to a large?
I guess you'd just have to use one of the placements in the compartment.. maybe one designated for shield extender

ctrl+right click when you have the paint tool out and looking at what you want to copy
