Wrestlemania 33, Seth Rollins wins/retains the Universal title, then cuts a mean promo about the authority screwing him over and how he was the chosen one when the shield was broken up. Then all of a sudden, 0:00 crowd starts going nuts. Drew appears from behind the curtain, starts walking down the ramp, then starts talking about how even after all of Hunter and Stephanie's shenanigans, he was still handed title matches left and right. Challenges Seth to a match, it gets approved, then after one hell of a match, Drew wins the title, thus finally winning a world title after all this time. Yeah, if only.

Maybe in the future, when he's done getting his goddamn name back, MAYBE...We'll hear this theme hit at an NXT event, McIntyre comes out, speaks about how he was the chosen one, and fell from grace, now The Fallen One will rise from the ashes and prove to McMahon, HHH, etc, that they dropped the ball with him. Over time he wins the NXT Championship, and eventually when he gets moved BACK to the main roster, he...maybe gets a World title feud against Sheamus (Who might I mention, has a history with McIntyre outside of WWE). Just wishful thinking, to be honest.

They use this theme because this theme is just fantastic for vince,s choice in hope that drew will be a future champion he was fine till 2011 but joining the wasted jobbers like heath slater and jinder mahal was so hurting.Coming to NXT and the main roster is the real talent of drew mcintyre that we are seeing that they should have push him till the moment he debuted so this theme defines his past.

I think they pretty much gave Seth the heel character that was originally meant for Mcintyre's big run. WWE have a history of doing things like that. They will take an idea they had for someone else and give it to someone different on the roster.
