Fantastic entertainment as always, unfortunately I am an ocean away so can't join you to spectate. At the end you'll be able to claim 10 course records with random donated clubs, a feat nobody else can claim 🤣 I'll pledge $5/birdie, $10/eagle - I think that's 3 birdies for first round?
A can be at Carlisle on Sunday. I have a whole bunch of clubs you may be able to use. Including Nicklaus Polarity irons with midsize golf pride grips in good nick (extra tape I think as they seem thicker than normal midsize), Cleveland Launcher fairway woods and CG11 60 degree wedge. All sorts of other woods, drivers and wedges but nothing exciting. Happy to bring them all along for you to check out, just let me know. Regards, Mike Down
13:00 I’m of the old school standards when calling yourself a “Pro”. If you can’t make more than half of your earnings from tournament winnings, make more tournament $$ than what you put in, or not on a bigger established tour.. Then your NOT a pro. Also, being sponsored is meaningless if you can’t play and are constantly giving your money to better players. Too many people are delusional and fluffing up their ego’s calling themselves professional. TH-camrs view = Everyone’s thinks they are a “Pro”.. Reality = Maybe a couple on here actually are.
The videography and editing team deserve a pat on the back. To turn a quality video like this around in a limited time is not easy and they have done it. Not to take it away from the main man putting the effort in - will be donating as you cycle through Devon. And those Thurso folks too - well played on the support!
Agreed, a great effort although the music was twice as loud as Pete, so I had to turn the volume up and down and up and down and up and down throughout
I was going to comment this same statement. I love the way they edited this video. The stopping for some conversation, but shortening some holes with the quick shot with the musical overlay is genius. Well done editing team.
Was nice seeing you in Thurso Pete! I’m Cameron hope I didn’t do you too dirty with the selection of clubs I donated haha. Still haven’t told my dad about his missing R580 oops.
The golf content is incredible. But I LOVE seeing you (and others) use this TH-cam celebrity and your channels, influence, and connections for charity. So cool to see you giving back. Keep up ALL the great content!! LOVE IT!
Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Pete get around with that set of clubs. He broke 80 with garbage clubs. Just proves its more about the golfer and less about the equipment.
What I nice experience. I visited Thurso on my first big trip to the UK, when I was 18, which as I just calculated was 41 years ago, shocking. But what I will always remember was how friendly and forthcoming the people in this area were. I felt really welcome, wherever I went.
I can’t even begin to tell you how impressive this is. My thoughts on Peter’s cycling success on this trip is that he was subconsciously trying to get as far away from that round of golf as quickly as possible!
Pete is out here talking about a rubbish round while he’s walking onto 18 with a score I’d be ecstatic with. I know he’s a pro and all but makes me feel like the golf gods keep it even. Great video guys!
9:25 😂 still the best putter ever since it got you a birdie! 😈 16:50 always appreciate the Irn-Bru advertisement 23:06 😂 17-hole warmup: classic 28:37 watching the boys riding in the van is hilarious
Love the challenge and the build a bag idea. Really chill vibes and reminds me of the pawn shop challenge you did a while ago (1 of my personal favorites).
Good Luck in your challenge. Really positive and inspiring . I did a 250 mile cycle a few years ago for amputees that served or are serving in the military to raise money and also awareness. It will be tough but really rewarding.
Just a brilliant video and a gargantuan effort by Pete. Shout out to the local who bent down behind Pete on the 17th to read the break on the green , local knowledge will be key in this quest. I think that Putter will miss Pete after this adventure, I nominate it as a back up plan to his current one , or who knows? I could be downplaying it’s brilliance.
Excellent effort. I could see a “challenge tour” match series. Testing the cycle and the swing. Same bikes, same start point each leg timed. different bag of clubs at each course. Walking with bag and the round is timed by the local pro from 1st tee to 18th green. Cumulative times (Cycle & Swing) and cumulative scores crowns the champion. Maybe you get a local golfer to loan you their bag for the round. Make up your own tour. Could be fun.
Cudos to Pete and the crew! Fantastic efforts on all fronts, entertaining and fun. (sitting in Gothenburg, rainstorm outside) Will follow you guys through!
Great video. Just some tips for the bike. Get a frame bag and outfront mount for the gopro, and ditch the backpack. You want as much wait off your body as possible. Surprisingly after a few days on thr bike its the neck and shoulders that will start to hurt the most, I'd imagine 10 rounds wont help. Also, look at bone conduction earphones. I'd never cycle with in ear ones, even with a varia radar. Chapeau!
This is awesome 😎 So glad you’re doing this trip, and looking forward to your ride south. One has to wonder if the person who threw those clubs away has any idea the new life they just gave those clubs! 😝
Good luck with this challenge. I will say with a great deal of experience that you would do better, and be MUCH more comfortable, on a recumbent bicycle. And the Kewl Factor on a 'bent is awesome.
Pete as someone whos started playing golf finally the last 3 months using a mates old rescue set you've given me some hope that its the clubs are the reason i havent broken 100 yet 😂😂😂 *logs into american golf*
Wish I were cycling this with you. I'm doing Lands End to John O Groats virtually on my indoor trainer this summer. 52 miles is no joke after a round of golf.
Not sure if you were going for a Jeremy Clarkson vibe when describing the bike but that whole bit screamed Top Gear to me 🤣 All the best on the journey!
Peter I am a member at mullion golf club, when is your round happening, I would love to either join you to show you around the course, or just simply follow you around. It's a great course with some beautiful scenery of the cornish coast. It will be fantastic to have you down here.
Pete I love this series👍🏻 problem with the struggle is the heap of dog bones you’ll be playing with by the end. But don’t get me wrong I’m all in for the comedy/tragedy 😂

I surly hope your crowd gets huge

Watching someone suffer with genuinely rubbish clubs is magic. Every time the putter is out I’m just chuckling away. More of this please!
That is a literal pool noodle for grip
Read this before getting to that part of the video. The head gave me a chuckle, but the grip made me lose it. 🤣
@@LoreTunderinI can’t fucking wait to get there 🤣🤣🤣 the video just started for me

Pete, I think you need to sort out your post editing quality checks, the very first title says its Thruso Golf Club 🤦♂@@peterfinchgolf

Dads gonna be maaaadddd 😂
Wishing you every bit of luck possible in the coming weeks. What you are doing is amazing and inspirational
Thank you so much!

Was great having you guys up in Thurso and watching you guys making this vid, great stuff, keep going Pete ⛳️☄️🏌️♂️🚴♀️
Would love to see more cycling/touring content! Give us a taste of the land and people!
Thruso golf club looks great! Good luck Pete!

Ha Ha Ha. Your crew are absolutely nuts. Great challenge, and good to meet you at Fort Will I Am.
The local people are amazing, they must be really proud of their course, and so they should be. I doff my cap to them.
We are proud we only have one full time greenkeeper. And a few helpers.
3 full time in the summer.
Peter’s attitude and sense of humor made this an incredible video! Funniest video of his I’ve seen.😂
Maximum respect for doing this! If you are new to cycling, its going to test you in a number of uncomfortable ways! best of luck and don't give in !!!
I’m already feeling them 😂
Love the challenge and the build a bag idea. Really chill vibes and reminds me of the pawn shop challenge you did a while ago (1 of my personal favorites).
Just met Pete for the first time. Absolute gent. Wishing you the best.
Very entertaining, well done for a course you’ve never played, with clubs found in a bin. Again well done.
What a beautiful course to play. 🚴♂️🚴♂️
Peter I am loving this content, beating yourself up for a good cause, props to you and your team👏
Great first installment. Look forward to the rest of the series. Good luck Pete!
Great cause, and what a fantastic looking course. Best of luck!

Lovin' the Thruso GC Titles !! 😄
Great edit. Love the vloggy bits in the van too.

The local was my granda who’s 91 years old honorary member at thurso golf club very well respected man by the club.
Had a rough day and this video made me chuckle for the first time today at 11pm
Fabulous start! You’ll be thinner than a super stroke putter grip at the end of all this!! Make sure to load up on pies and beers 🍺😜⛳️
Excited to watch this develop! Hope you reach your goal and then some! Wishing you and the team the very best!
Great stuff. Good luck Pete (and team!)
Amazing challenge and incredible charity, Pete! Very best of luck with it, will drop a few quid to the campaign!
Good luck, you’re going to be knackered by the end of it!!
Fantastic trip of Golf and Cycling place to place .
New courses with beat up and old clubs is great stuff.

This might be my favorite series already. love it
“The black hawks let me down” was an underrated comment. I see what you did there!
Cudos to Pete and the crew! Fantastic efforts on all fronts, entertaining and fun. (sitting in Gothenburg, rainstorm outside) Will follow you guys through!
"Kudos"
Always brilliant content Pete, and what a great cause,I’ll be watching, best wishes and have fun
Mate, this will get the mental game going. Playing in front of crowds for 10 courses will help you greatly. Be entering tourneys next year again
Great video guys. Was good to meet you all in Thurso. Good luck with the rest of the adventure 👍🏻
That putter may well be an inanimate object, but it hates you! We love following your journey, we will see you at your next stop!
The putter with a pool noodle for a grip! Brilliant 😂

The boys must be working some serious overtime to get these videos out. Great job and great cause.
Love the videos! This looks like a great series. The two different socks were messing with me! 😂
This is awesome 😎 So glad you’re doing this trip, and looking forward to your ride south.

love the shows. Good luck to you and be safe.

This a great! Cannot wait for tomorrow’s video.
Brilliant content recently Pete! Good luck on your cycle! 👌🏻 🚴🏻 ⛳
I own a bike shop and that bike you are riding is perfect!
Loved this video Pete, great series concept mate
Brilliant. Great vid......awful noise of that putter though.
Wish I were cycling this with you. I'm doing Lands End to John O Groats virtually on my indoor trainer this summer. 52 miles is no joke after a round of golf.
Can't wait to meet you at Mullion - journey's end - phew! It's a great challenge, but you'll the man for it!
Amazing video. The editing was top notch.
New channel idea, bike review by PF! lol That review was hilarious!!
Great effort, regardless of score result. Cheers to you and all your sponsors! 🙌👏💯
Go for it Pete, looking forward to the next 20 days 👍
Good luck Pete!!
Thank you for choosing the British heart foundation, without them I wouldn’t be alive today.
Keep up the good work. Stay strong.
Yes!
Absolutely amazing content love this sort of stuff big ups Pete!!
Go for it Pete!!
Best of luck Pete!
Woo wish I was closer I would get Pete a putter! LOL That thing is going to be hard to watch for 10 rounds!
Great video Peter! What golf ball have you been using because you didn’t do it in build my bag❤
Pete's still testing, but I think for the next three weeks it's literally anything that gets donated 😅 - David
Last I heard was the vice pro plus but that's been like 2 years since I've heard so he may have updated it since then
@@nate3972he switched to tue Callaway Chromesoft X last year.
he said for now he was using pro v1 in the vid with his new clubs but said he'll make a build my bag episode on ball soon
He's been playing the Callaway Chrome Soft Triple Track from what I've seen...
Not sure if you were going for a Jeremy Clarkson vibe when describing the bike but that whole bit screamed Top Gear to me 🤣
All the best on the journey!
See you at Fort William, I have a Cobra Forg Tec 3 Hybrid for the bag!
The awkward dead silence from the crowd is comedy gold 🤣
I've been using a Super Stroke 5.0 for several years on my Scotty Futura. Never going back 🤙
An epic journey for a good cause, good luck Peter! Now, does anybody have a centre shafted putter they can donate to the cause 🙂
No editing out the triples and quads! Those are the good content! 😂
Good luck Pete 👏🏼 Great concept
That stuff at the bottom of the bin Pete is called 'Bin Juice' 😂 Top vid.
Great editing chaps 👏👏👏
Great video. Good luck Peter!
Really love the Jeremy Clarkson like introduction to the cycle as if you were on Top Gear.
i want this putter to make it all the way through this series, the odd couple who love each other by the end
Hopefully meet you on Monday at Windermere, think we’re teeing off at 13:50, so no driving into us!
I’ll bring you a putter too ;)
Loving the build the bag idea as it reminds me of my clubs! I have a TaylorMade R540 which I bought for £1 at a recycling centre 😂
Peter I am a member at mullion golf club, when is your round happening, I would love to either join you to show you around the course, or just simply follow you around. It's a great course with some beautiful scenery of the cornish coast. It will be fantastic to have you down here.
Get it done Finchy!
Well done Pete 👏 😊
Pete I love this series👍🏻 problem with the struggle is the heap of dog bones you’ll be playing with by the end. But don’t get me wrong I’m all in for the comedy/tragedy 😂
Good Luck Pete
Loved the van cam at the end 😂
Pete put those Wilson Launchpads in your bag and get your mate Rick a set as well 😂🎉
Awesome guys
Nice job boys .
Fantastic stuff Pete and the team. You are in for a treat when you play Brora. I hope you like cattle.😂
Good luck with the challenge 😊
I want that M6 4 iron so bad! Been looking for one to complete my M6 set for years! Impossible to find the individual club.
