1) Burying the vines

2) Using pesticides/herbicides

SEED TO FEED recommends you speak to your local garden supply store to see what methods they recommend/have in stock. Where possible, use those methods that are the least destructive/most natural. 3) Watering the plant
Mike talks about using Miracle Grow in the water as it is high in nitrogen. Right now, the GIANT pumpkin plant needs nitrogen as the leaves and vine are the focus. Later on, the nutrients will be changed when the actual pumpkin (fruit versus the plant) is the focus.

If you left the flower close to the base you might end up with a pumpkin that does not have enough room to grow. You wouldn't want a giant pumpkin growing on top of the base!

Hi Here We Mow Again! Our advice is to either put a havahart trap next to your plant in hopes of trapping it, or situate chicken wire around it. This website right here will make sure you do it affectively and hopefully without failure.

Hi film populer, when you cover the vine, as the video shows, you must leave 6 inches for the vine to keep on growing out. So if you cover the trunk entirely it will not be able to expand and your pumpkin plant wont be able to grow larger.

Unless you rip it off and bury it separately yes, if not you must still bury it and remove soil every now and then
