Just a bit of my own thoughts here. I battled seasonal depression for years. Even went into severe depression because of it and it affected my marriage and kids. I did have to go to counseling but I found that going to a tanning bed really helped me. So I get a new member package every winter and visit the tanning bed weekly and pretend I’m in summer. Second, I started a grow room with a 1000 watt hps light and a fan. The time spent gardening under the light in 90* with the fan blowing around was very soothing to my soul. And I got to grow some stuff. Vegetables people 😂 the weed always helps though. Lol Anyway, just two tricks I did that helped me pull through some dark winters year after year. Cheers man.
I find that the best way to beat the winter blues is to stay busy, spend time with family and friends, and have a few cold ones. I'm ready to see some snow too man!

Winter is challenging with the shorter days with less sun light and I appreciate that you are as humans as the rest of us. Take the time you need to feel comfortable and sometimes changing your routine can help….. try something new or don’t. We will always show up to watch.

I have had seasonal depression for the past 10 years, so I know what it's like. I did invest in light box. It helps! Still wish we would stay on daylight savings time, I like the later sunsets. Take care, LOVE your videos!!

Was just talking about seasonal depression today. It’s brutal… only seems to be getting worse the older I get. But! I also bought myself a hot tent and a wood stove at the end of the fall to hopefully help combat it this winter. I’ve taken it out a few weekends so far and I love it. Knew I would though, I’ve been wanting one for years. Happy trails, buddy

Well worth the wait. I'd be out there if I could myself. Though I'd pick warmer places, still love that you can tolerate the cold and share it with your audience.
We are definitely in my FAVORITE time of year. Love it just wish we could see some actual cooler weather here in North Georgia

I've been thinking for a year and change... Van camping would be better for you, love the Chevy, but your buddy's van you did a few videos with... Being able to stand, stretch, counter tops, ECT. Captains chairs that swivel. Keep up the videos Quady.

Short days. Sh*t weather. Ef it. Confront the elements, Crazy! I did to today. Kissed my comfort zone goodbye and took my RE Meteor 350 out for a spin in drizzly, 7° C (44.6° F) weather. And I’ll be out again tomorrow…if it doesn’t snow 😄👍✌

Seasonal depression can be tough: get yourself a light box and sit in front of it for a couple of hours every couple of days..makes a big difference. Hot tents are awesome; I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and bought one myself: a winter camping gamechanger.
those light boxes are cool. People even in Florida get seasonal depression. Lack there of lol. summer 365

I bought a OneTigris tent and used it for one season. I ended up buying an insulated ice hub to replace it. Easier to set up and, well, it's insulated, so it stays much warmer. The OneTigris tent wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me. I hope that you enjoy yours more than I enjoyed mine.

alot of van lifers on youtube. I been using a jeep Cherokee to camp in and while it works fine, its defiantly tight. I would like to Get a used cargo van and convert it.
