    You're knocking all the beans out of the pods with the fast reel. Should be a hair faster than ground speed.

    You definately needed to slow your reel speed down..."a lot". You do this by rotating the reel speed knob to your right. If the beans are dry, you will be slapping 'em right out of the hull before they ever get a chance to clear the grain head.

      Commonwealth Farms there was a lot of loose beans on the sickle. that's probably why

      Do you happen to remember your yield?

      Commonwealth Farms it averaged out to 35bu and acre. i didnt think that was bad for a dry year and i had sprayer problems so i had a lot of weeds in part of a field.

    I’m using a 4400 for grass seed with a pickup header. When I engage the separator control level the header doesn’t turn, any idea why?

    Your combine is the only other 4400 I've seen that has the tall rear tires. Mine has them.

      Mine look custom made, ive also never seen another. Im not sure what the reason is for them.

      michaeljp86 mine do also. I believe it is to level the machine out so it has more time to clean instead of grain moving quickly over the sieve.

      @@farmer1104 that could be, i thought maybe for better steering in mud but that didnt do much last fall in the mud

      michaeljp86 yeah mine don't do the greatest in mud either but they don't push the mud too bad.

    How many acres do you farm?

      @michaeljp86  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right now just under 50 acres

      @@joeysuttle675 i love it too, the way i look at it is lots of people go to the casino and lose money as a hobby. I gamble on the weather but get to drive tractors and be left alone and normally i dont lose money. You can get really cheap equipment if you watch for it. My combine was $2500, case 1070 was $1200, planter was like $125, discs and other equipment a few hundred each. I paid $4500 for a dump trailer and thats my biggest investment.
