From experience even Twitch tends to mute my Rocksmith VODs and with TH-cam copyright algorithms being allegedly even worse idk if Dooo could make it work without it being small snippets of songs like in this one so there probably isn't quite enough content to have this be a series. If you want to get rid of the lag you need to use an optic cable for audio not an hdmi or RCA cables. I use an optic cable and the lag is virtually nonexistent.
You can also use headphones

get a vox vtx 20 there not that much and sound great
If you want a nice practice amp that won't break the bank you can get a Blackstar ID Core 20, or if you want something small you can take with you a Fly 3 is good too!
I use amplitude and other amp Sims on PC you can use rs cable with asio4all

Lag has to do with Audio and Video going through the same output. separate them and it'll be fixed. physical copies of the game have papers that say this too

finally doo gave into peer pressure
I used the program for a while and found it to be fantastic. There is a setting to adjust for lag. The great feature about it is that it will automatically adjust as you go. So as you successfully get note after note, it increases the number of notes. However, if you start missing too many it'll take some away. Eventually you work your way up to 100% but it doesn't end there. As you continue to successfully get all the notes, it'll start taking them away but will expect you to still play them until you reach a point where you are playing the whole song by memory. That's considered 200%.
I started out with rocksmith and learning a guitar not too long ago, have been having a blast. Primarily, I've pretty much topped out in clone hero and always wanted to learn a guitar.

Look, he probably won't see this but what you do with this game is plug the cord into the "Line Out" on an amp, then mute the sound from your instrument IN-GAME, following that adjust the note detection from once you play not adjusting for sound.
Finally balance the audio between your speakers or tv, whatever and your amp. Away you go you'll have "your sound" with the ability to learn the rocksmith songs.

Not completely. at least I couldn't. You can fix the video latency but not the audio latency.
Tom Hasselman he could run the game through an external audio card (I suppose he has one) and there shouldn't be any latency whatsoever

When I first asked my parents for guitar hero back when it first came out, I imagine this is what they were expecting me to come home with. When I walked through the door with a plastic guitar with 5 colored buttons, that no college would consider "musically cultured", I imagine they were quite disappointed.

If note detection is broke, if possible use a guitar with a humbucker pickup. That solved the problem when I had it.
