Just randomly revisiting this video for no particular reason, LOL. Well explained and demonstrated. I think this might get bumped higher up my list of priorities...this really looks straightforward enough even for me to tackle. Thank you!
Did you just watch the.rooted.progress latest video on the flooded ecu? Super easy project and very cheap. I’ve got another water crossing based mod I’m planning to film very soon as well 😉
I just picked up my forester and so far you have the best tips. I guess you ausies really have your subies figured out. This mod is awesome, I love the ones that only take your time. I think I've already watched 6 of your videos here and there. I'm sure I'll end up watching the rest as well. Keep it up dude. I may attempt to do a video for a 5th gear pop out repair. I'm usually a nissan datsun guy, so these cars are similar enough I find them really fun.
What size are your two round lights in the front? I was looking for a perfect size and I’m not sure if a two 7inches is big enough for my liking. And the one u have seems perfect
Hey Mitre what’s a good forum you recommend to ask questions about Subaru Forrester? Btw great content and I’m really starting to consider a forester as my first car.
Rory Rathbone I started with the forester simply because it’s something different, unique and a very cheap way to start off-roading. However having a more capable 4wd does cross my mind occasionally...
Hey mate, do you know roughly what the wading depth for a stock 05 forester would be? On a trip I have planned there's a short river crossing and the river is measured around 38cm right now, was wondering if that sounds doable
I don’t know off the top of my head. I would measure the distance to the breather on the rear diff and use that as a guide. At 38cm I think you will be fine though

@@ignitionoffroad5028 Haha, yes indeed, got here from the link in your comment. :-) Can't wait to see the next mod!

Perfect vid man, about to do just this! Thanks!

These are 7 inch lights. They suit the smaller subie perfectly I think.
Great idea and so easy to do
Awesome. I was wondering how to do this. Thank you!

offroadsubarus.com is a really good source of information, otherwise there are heaps of facebook groups on the topic if your on there
Hey Mitre, your vids are great. Wondering why you didn't end up going with a vehicle like a grand vitara? Seems more suitable for what you're after.

A must do
Where did u get that bull bar
I got this one at a wreckers but it’s a Subaxtreme bullbar
Could you please tell me, did you have any issues with overheating of the ecu?
None at all. If anything there is more airflow around the ecu now and it would be cooler
Thank you for your feedback.

Yo dude what bumper is that?
Austin King subaxtreme bumper
What's the code on your ecu?
Not sure. A part number perhaps?
love it getting on to that soon
