I would hope this would have a happy ending. I know “Your Name Engraved Herein” had a sad ending but that one took place in 1987. That was back when there was serious prejudice against LGBTQ+ community. This story takes place in the present. Even though our world is not perfect, there has been a lot of more progress towards acceptance. So I have hope that this one will have a happy ending

If the director didn't give them happy ending and didn't follow the novel. I'll sure curse the director because the same director direct my name engraved herein. some things pisses me off why some directors make changes on the series and didn't follow the novel completely. Some literally change the ending idk what's goes on their mind that they do it. Just remove some unnecessary stuffs but keep the main elements. If a series completely follow the novel then the magic remains otherwise things just messed up!
My name engraved herein was actually made with elements of the true life story of the director and he actually added a better ending of them meeting again cause in real life, the director never saw Birdy again.
