Bas yahi toh baat hai na... Ajkal wo jamana hi nahi hai. Sab ko 1000cc 750cc 650cc superbikes chahiye jo 1 baar accelerate kiya aur wo hawa mein udne lagi! Pure biking pleasure kya hota hai, relaxed biking and the one which makes you truly feel like you own the road ye sab feeling se logo ko ab jada matlab nahi. Indian army ne jab ye bike pehli baar England se import karwayi thi toh unka ye requirement tha ki tough and rugged terrains mein unko 1 majboot bike chahiye jo heavy loads ko pahucha sake from 1 point to another and for general patrolling of the soldiers on the border. It was easy to maintain too.... India ki first 4 stroke bike thi ye.... And ye sab parameters pe ye bike perfectly fit hoti thi! Ye kabhi bhi touring bike nahi thi aur na hi ye speed ke liye bani thi. Kyuki agar ye speed ke liye hoti toh iske brakes bhi acche hote joki old models mein kabhi nahi the. 🙂 Bullet is truly an immortal bike and when the company got closed in Redditch, England by the 70's due to some stiff competition from Japanese bikes this bike had already made it's fan base in India which helped it survive even further... BSA and other British companies had not that kind of luck! This bike is truly immortal, whether one believes it or not.
4:17 one thing more about the neutral finder. IT is very important to note sometimes the neutral finder does not go neutral but 1st gear. In that case be aware of it or you will be injured. for anyone to know when the neutral finder does not go neutral but 1st then you will feel friction in chain. just helping anyone who thinks of buying one PS: dont buy old bullet for only dependence, inefficient. i have electra and still got some issues lol

I had my uncles 1998.He sold it I started first cleaning it then starting it and then first drive a bike in my life at age of 15 and half. The feel of the power while climbing a good hill 😢. I miss it. Mine too had good engine condition

I have 2009 model. Complete stock. Excellent condition. Authentic short silencer. Don't worry about slow speed top gear. Just do what is needed while you ride. Ride with pride.
You can also try from some local scrapyard. My father got an old broken one from a scrapyard and restored it with help from a local mechanic for total of 80,000 rupees and it works very good

Avi ka jamane me new generation bike nikal raha hai lekin 50 sal umer ki admi k lie slow cruising chahie, to ci engine bullet is the best. Slow speed me chalte rohoge to chand me pouchjaoge. Lekin jada speed doge to engine seize ho jaigi.

I have RE classic Signals 2022 model and apart from kick start it has every aspect of A bullet. Yes it got an upgrade in brakes and better engine, low vibrations.. Thats what I needed. Not a tractor from 90’s and talking about legs. I squat 200 kg and I have nice legs. Ny bullet weighs around the same but for me its a splendor… Its a illogical ego by saying that the old model is best. No doubt, it was best but it was for its own time but now its way better then this old tractor.
True, but what are you gonna do when the ECU conks out on you, or there's an EMP burst that disables your electronics? Main reason people go for the older one is because it's purely mechanical and easier to repair it. With the new ones, if something goes wrong, it's either service center or else you have a giant iron brick.

Check your engine mounts and bushes. Vibrations are normal for bullets.

Just paint the bend when it’s hot. Clean the parts yourself, you may use diesel to clean them and later use water to rinse it off.
