What if I've never pumped while full because I nursing also, but I have pumped after nursing and one side while nursing on the other? I've gotten 2.5 ounces after nursing and 3 ounces while nursing one side and pumping the other
@@MsLessette so if your goal is to have an oversupply you would add pumping regularly a few times a day after nursing. If you are nursing 8-9 times a day and happy with supply and baby is growing well there would not be a concern. If you are nursing 8-9 times a day and supply is low thats time to get skilled lactation care as something is up and this tool has been modified to be something that doesn't really fit your situation.
This is amazing information! Very fortuitous finding this after our convo today! Keeping what you said about underlying conditions in mind though
try the new calculator- you might love it!!
@genuinelactation I did! I'm a bit afraid to drop to 4 but sticking with 5 to 6 makes me feel much better!

This gets a touch more complicated but how many times a day are you removing milk?
@genuinelactation i feed on demand, but I'm guessing between 8-9 times in a 24 hour period
