I recently saw another video of the micro-drive system showing the back of the drive w/the two motors. I was able to see the main traction machine, cut off when the microdrive cut in, along with the up/down relays, phase reserving relays on the controller board. Works as smooth as a fine time piece.
I just found a set of 3 completely original Micro-Drive Otis freight elevators! They’re completely original, & the Micro-Drive system on all 3 still work to this day!
The Elevator World This is a self-storage facility. In dense urban environments, it's not terribly uncommon to see self-storage facilities this tall. Although the age of the elevator is unusual for such a building, and it's especially surprising that this elevatot wasn't modded a long time ago.

My favorite kinds of elevators are Manual ones like this!!! So much more fun than a traditional automatic elevator!
