Grand Rounds April 18th 2024 Katie Hands - Blood Transfusion Update

I'm so grateful to everyone who gives their time to come and speak at Grand Rounds, but particularly to those who have come back repeatedly to give updates in their fields. Once such Grand Rounds Star is Dr Katie Hands, consultant in haematology and blood transfusion who has spoken many times before, and returns today with an update.
Katie and I were an SHO/Registrar double-act in PRI in 2005, I have fond memories of those ward rounds and on calls - I'll leave it to you to decide who was the SHO, and who was the reg.
