Met him a few years back at this same lake during the Bassfest, which he won. He wasn’t well known at that time unless you followed the circuit. I was impressed with his demeanor and professionalism. We talked about 10 minutes. Really nice guy. From that point forward, he’s kicked butt. Oh.....we tried to follow him on the lake the last day. He was hitting many spots. Didn’t stay long at a spot unless he caught fish. We lost him around 10 AM. His boat left a spot for a long run and it was bye bye Jacob. We couldn’t keep up. His boat runs like he fishes. Wide open and efficient.
