Have y’all considered moving your bed to the desk wall? That would give you more space for 2 nightstands with lamps on each stand for more lighting. Then the desk and mirror on the wall the bed is on. Just a suggestion to give more space!

I’m obsessed with Christmas and I love everything about it, but I totally get the forced feeling! I try putting Christmas music on in the background while cleaning or wrapping gifts and only watch movies when I really want to! I never want to do so much Christmas stuff that I don’t feel the joy of the season anymore.

Today is a very difficult day for me and my family, our dog (who grew up with me) is very sick and suffering a lot and we made the decision to let her go, and my grandpa just got to the hospital. Also, for bedside tables, if you don’t need drawers, think of alternative options like wooden shipping crates that you can turn on their sides. The place in McKinney has a lot of good things for alternative furniture pieces.
Yes! I love listening to you talk about the "boring" life/adult things that you have to do as a freelancer especially, it's really interesting to hear! Just catching up on the vlogs now because life has totally fallen apart in the past month BUT I totally agree about Christmas movies. Couldn't do it this year so I kind of just watched a couple minutes of some I really loved while my roommates had it on but just couldn't get into it and I figured it was a much better use of my time to not watch them if it was going to just be out of obligation. Also, the past two Christmas seasons have been really hard times of life for me so I haven't been able to listen to any of my normal Christmas music--last year it was a mix of sad Christmas music and indie albums from some Christian artists, and this year it was the same mix of sad Christmas music (with new additions for this year) and then some traditional Christmas hymns or very advent/Christ-centered Christmas songs sung in more traditional ways. Couldn't do like any of the pop lol
