Shell made a series called 'The Great Travel Hack' in which they attempt to travel with as low carbon emissions as possible from A to B. They used all kinds of low-carbon emission vehicles. This was recorded and aired on television. During the season they emitted a total of 2448kg of CO2. If they would have travelled by train that emission would have been 360kg. Conclusion: even when Shell does their best, they still pollute the world at almost 7 times the rate of existing technologies.
It feels like Mac Donalds is inspiring me to eat more vegatables, especially those between the burgers they sell. Don't get me wrong, Shell has every right to sell oil, make a profit and expand. But to frame yourself as the saviour of the future... A bit far fetched.
So true, Debbie! The future looks bright in such capable hands. You can find out more about the employees featured in the video here: go.shell.com/3039P8a
Debbie Foley I am also so proud on how Shell polluted the Nigerian Delta, destroyed Groningen, don’t pay tax and I am so proud of the carbon footprint of all the employees who fly on distances which can easily done by train. Shell is a shithole, who cries when they get criticized, but never explain things. Why don’t make your tax bills public? Even the Dutch president who is really a multi national fan, can’t defend Shell anymore. If you are proud about Shell, it means you are just dumb or you totally hate the idea of children having a good future, so you like the idea of polluting the planet.
ouwerus Where can I read where Shell pays tax? Could you give me a link of their tax administration? Probably not because there is none. Shell is not paying his fair share.

Ben van Beurden used to pay himself some 10 million euros a year whilst people in Groningen, where gas is won, have seen their houses be damaged and where they struggle for compensation.
Shell is extremely biased company, hiring good looking people only, I mean good looking is high priority than skill, talent and Knowledge. Qualification and experience doesn't matter for Shell if you are not good looking, in this way hopefully Shell will loose the business and bankrupt one day, I want this to happen. Key to work in Shell is 2 thing one is good looking and the other is to give fake smile all the day with good communication especially English and if you are a female than they will give the highest priority.
