I just played this for my hummingbird at the feeder and they have been circling around chirping back. I hope these chirps aren't threats and mean something friendly. 😬
I was wondering the same thing because this sound , it’s keeping all of my birds out of my yard!!! And it sounds like a titmouse warning call, So none of my birds are here forget about the hummingbirds!!
I live in Saudi Arabia. I woke up one day and saw a hummingbird in my widow it was hovering for a while, and it quickly was chased by another bird into the tree. Before I could take a picture. I was so upset! This was the first time I have ever seen a hummingbird near my house or window! My widow doesn’t have any flowers or anything either to my knowledge! Ever since then I have been searching for it! I put everything red I own outside and sugar water and a small jasmine flower plant which is the only one I have. And I have been waiting I hope it comes back! Playing the sounds now ❤
@@DixieGeek09 the sunbirds are gorgeous, they are called Purple-rumped sunbird they are tiny and drink nectar similar to Hummingbirds, its possible thats what I saw, which would explain it, as they are also green yellow and purple from certain angles and can hover for a short while.
I still don’t know if there are hummingbirds in Saudi. I know I have seen them when I was a kid. But I am now a new fan of these sunbirds. 😊 I love discovering new birds and species. Its like uncovering a magical world around you.

A sun bird… hmm I’m in canada not sure if we have those. It sounds beautiful though. I will have to google this lovely little creature
