    EN:
Varosha is currently used as an open-air museum and visiting area. It is open to anyone who wants to visit and it is completely free. Only drones are prohibited and no entry into buildings. Other than that, there are no restrictions.
You do not show any passport or any documents at the entrance to the area. Visiting hours are from 8 in the morning until sunset in the evening, such as 7 pm or 8 pm. Closing time for the winter months is 5 pm.
There are eating and drinking areas, cafes, WCs, beaches inside. There are even bicycle rental and bus service facilities for easy transportation.
There are currently two beaches in the area. One of them is very close to the entrance and can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes, while it is recommended to go to the other beach by shuttle or bike. There are changing cabins, toilets, showers, eating and drinking areas, sun loungers and umbrellas on both beaches. In my opinion, these two beaches are among the best beaches in Cyprus where you can enjoy the sea.
As of 2022, shuttle tickets cost 20 Turkish Lira (round trip + return), bike rental 20 Turkish Lira. Only credit cards are accepted inside, not cash.
    TR:

I visited Salamis, Famagusta and Varosha about a week ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to explore the place more extensively. Thanks for sharing such an extensive walk in Varosha! I have to say that the 70s architectural style is fascinating.

It's so amazing to see all of this 60s/70s infrastructure and sad to think that these were people's homes and businesses that were lost.

I have always wondered what the conflict zones and border in Cyprus looked like, but there have not been much photos of the past. I knew that it had fancy rich areas and obviously nice beaches, but I had no clue.
You can see that some of the buildings are from the 1920s to 1970s and are beautiful, but crumbling

I am a greekcypriot and I agree with you my friend. Who started all this? Greekcypriots with the idea of Cyprus joining Greece and eradicating Turkishcypriots including Greekcypriots who were friends with them. And the result? Greece then didn’t want nothing to do with Cyprus and today still doesn’t want to.

Hi there. :) Thank you for the video. You mentioned about the shuttle round trip shuttle to and from Varosha, may I know where we can take this shuttle? We have plans to visit Varosha during our trip to Cyprus later this year. We have planned a full day to visit Famagusta & Varosha, and really want to do our own self-walk to see Varosha up close, not just from the beach angle.
For now, we will be coming from South Cyprus either Larnaca or Ayia Napa, but willing to explore options. So we are in the decision to go via a guided tour or not as they only usually drive by or only give 15 mins to view from the beach. But we would really prefer to have our own time to see visit here.
Thank you so much for sharing and your wonderful videos!

These images should be seen by the whole world in Europe and America because unfortunately there are people who have no idea what happened in Cyprus, as well as the world should learn about what the Turks are, as a people and as a country. . I hope that one day Cyprus will be free and that Turkey will be punished for what it has done to both the Greek and Cypriot people.

@IŞIK GÜRBÜZ You have no clue what you are talking about.
Its a beach tourist resort area, and thats what they are like.
How do you know the buildings are tasteless? Do you know anything about architecture. Most of the buildings were built from the 1920s to 1960's it looks like. And the hotels from the mid 50's to 1970s.
You dont know ugly buildings if you think the buildings are ugly.
Have you seen what American and Canadians urban areas look like...this is totally different.
This is considered regular development, for a built up area. and is in line what would of been built in Europe or Mediterranean cities
