Gadget was every kids weird dream anthro gf. Its surprising more of us didnt become furries. How we dodged that bullet is beyond me. Between her and Lola fucking Bunny.
Arin and Dan skip the opening that mentions a time bomb being set at the restaurant. Later Chip: "Who set the time bomb!?" Arin and Dan: "WOAH! WHERE'D THIS COME FROM!?"
Yay! I love the Chip & Dale games! They're probably the only NES games I keep replaying constantly even now! It makes me super happy when I see you guys play a game I adore (:
I used to play this game ALL the time as a kid, I only made it to the cat that threw cards at you. I was thinking of playing it on my channel for old time sake, now the Grumps have played it, looks like I HAVE to now!
lol that game is super easy i finish it her when i was a kid i have it her on my console she wa amazing game the first game easy super easy but the second game only the last boss is hard you just need to learn how to play her
Omnimega13 He honestly isn't that sweet of a prince to me as he was to everyone else, but his early days as a Grump were wonderful, especially during Goof Troop.
***** 100% agree. Early he was great, but I grew to get really annoyed at him easily. If he didn't like the game he would do everything wrong and make Arin not want to play it among other things =/ Danny is so much better, imo.
Sometimes Some crimes Go slipping through the cracks But these two Gumshoes Are picking up the slack There's no case too big No case too small When you need help, just call...
You know, when I started reading those lyrics I didn't recognize them as the Rescue Rangers theme song, so I imagined them set to Blink 182's "All the Small Things"...
Sometimes Some crimes Go slipping through the cracks But these two Gumgoose Are picking up the slack There's no case too big No case too small When you need help, just call...
Oh my god this is so trippy ... I know this game. I've never owned it, but I used to play the shit out of it, like fifteen years ago at this daycare place I used to go to after school some days. I completely forgot about it until now, but I still know the levels and everything by heart. I don't think I could be more nostalgic for this, lol.
More NES games please. When they can only go one way, they seem to actually progress. Let's face it, path finding in an open world game just does not seem to suit the grumps.
No one cares about progress. This isn't an LP. However, I agree that NES games tend to be better than modern garbage like DS2. The real good episodes are the one-offs though.
Daumier Yeeeaaah no. DS2 is just more modern generic fantasy slush that obviously must've hired goats as game designers. I didn't even finish that shit because of how incredibly boring and void of creativity it was.
OMG I ACTUALLY DID SEND THIS GAME!! Guys I swear to holy GOD I really honestly did send the grumps this game! I did put my name so they've must've fucked up. :(
Chip and Dale 2, and DuckTales 2 are some of the most underrated and unnoticed NES games ever. Everyone always says Chip and Dale 1 and Ducktales 1 are so good, but so many people don't even realize there were sequels that were almost just as good as the originals.
"if this had an HD remake, this is the sound it would make" ...as part of the sound crew on DuckTales remastered, I can say yeah, that's probably accurate. You should have heard the gross-ass sound the snails used to make before we finally killed it off.
Oh god this game brings back a lot of memories. When I was 4, I had to go to the hospital for an operation. When I was in recovery, all I did was play this game and watch Dark Crystal.
Games released after the release of SNES tended to sell poorly and became rare. This game wasn't released in the US until 1994, 3 years after the SNES took over.
I remember when my friends would say they had a crush on Gadget. I'd always look at them weird, asking "you know she's an animal right?" Apparently they were fine with it. Like what you like I guess.
Sonic 06 Arin: "Can you believe these weirdos who are attracted to Sonic characters?" Chap & Dale 2 Arin: "I had a crush on Gadget when I was young." Yeeeep. Seems about right.
This was my favorite game for so long on the nes. I was so happy to see it on the list!!!! I still have my copy. If i remember correctly the final boss is that fat cat that was one of the arch enemy's in the show, and he is super easy, I could be wrong though.....Now that I watched the rest his actual name is fatcat LOL.
I remember the first rescue rangers game on the NES. It was a lot of fun. Then again, Capcom pretty well had it together for platformers. Most of their Disney licensed games were fairly fun
This one time, as a kid, I knew a girl who pulled the "my uncle works at Nintendo" bit on me, and she said that her uncle (I think it was) told her that Nintendo was making a Smash Bros. 2, and that Bowser was playable in it, and obviously I couldn't play it for whatever reason. I forget if part of the bit was her having a copy or not. Either way, then Melee came out and I saw the roster and OH MY GOD SHE WAS TECHNICALLY RIGHT.
I remember my old cousin had this game and one day I was at a sleepover at his house where I got to play it, and I loved it so much. But he wasn't the type to enjoy videogames that much so he decided that I wasn't allowed to play it anymore, and we should play other things, and I remember I got so mad hahaha. I didn't speak with my cousin for YEARS after that day. lol
I remember this show :D Although we had different names for the characters in german^^ While Chip was Chip Dale was Chap Gadget was Trixi Samson was the fat mouse guy And the fly was Summi Fuckin weird names xD
Rare NES game? No person to thank to? Enjoy your haunted NES cartridge guys and let crazy ass shit happen in the process!
I can see the hyper realistic blood everywhere.

And that just about sums up Dale from the show.
He got a bat girlfriend.
"Gadget, have you found out that Arin had a crush on you when he was eight."
You and everyone else who watched this.
True ^^
What time is this quote at
How could an 8 year old boy not have a crush on Gadget?
Had a crush on mokuba...before I found out he was a boy >_>
About time to get a 3D printer, me thinks.
Gadget is definitely a cutie.
Gadget was every kids weird dream anthro gf. Its surprising more of us didnt become furries. How we dodged that bullet is beyond me. Between her and Lola fucking Bunny.
I love this game!
Yes... Ducks can love too!
But they can't play video games ;_;
Oh why its you again! Hello! Quack!
A Duck..... good name subscribed
YourFriendAaron That's what you think. nookipedia.com/w/images/2/26/House_of_Joey.jpg Joey clearly plays Game Cube games. :P
Duck Tales! Woo Oo!
What kind of sane person wouldn't have a crush on Gadget, I mean lets be honest here.
I hope Arin doesn't watch the Robot Chicken parody of Gadget...
Oh good lord.
Either it'll make Arin very happy or ruin his childhood.
+tokyo200 probly both
If I were to guess, he would probably have to spend some alone time in his room or washroom too.
Arin and Dan skip the opening that mentions a time bomb being set at the restaurant.
Later
Chip: "Who set the time bomb!?"
Arin and Dan: "WOAH! WHERE'D THIS COME FROM!?"
This game sells from the range of $150 to $300.
You need play this shit hard, guys. HARD.
$150-$300 is not so bad compared to the prices for Gimmick...
(But the Famicom version of this game is a lot cheaper, apparently.)
Arin mentioned Bubble Bobble 2 in one video a month or two ago. A complete NES version with the box is usually about $500 USD.
The Jetsons game goes for like $700, so does the Rocky & Bullwinkle game, both for NES
Most copies I see go for $399.99 and I saw a brand new never opened copy for $899.99
Who didn't have a crush on Gadget?
That's one SQUARE ASS BURGER!
Let's add a hyphen: That's one SQUARE ASS-BURGER!
Scope-Eye video and now a semicolon: That's one square; ass burger.
Ryan Mulvaney and now let's change the spelling: That's one square asberger.
Nathan Williams I would've thought you'd go for "That's one square Asperger"
...Or is that what you were doing?
Scope-Eye video yeah, I derped it. I've dishonored my family.
Well, I was in love with Gadget too.
And I still am :(
This literally made me happier, even when I was feeling blue. I love this game a lot. Thank you, Game Grumps, for playing it.
Is this set in the post-apocalyptic future? Cause there's no way that many people left their hamburgers ABANDONED!
***** So would White Castles.
Oh man, I fuckin lost it at "Next time, Gadget..."
i thought it was going to be in the dr claw voice from inspector gadget
CHIP CHIP CHIP CHIP AND DALE!!!! RRSCUE HEROOOOOESSS

Gadget was one of the many Disney characters that contributed to my eventual furriness today.
I loved the original, completed it many times in my life and this is the first time I've even heard there was a sequel
Yay! I love the Chip & Dale games! They're probably the only NES games I keep replaying constantly even now!

This show is my daily therapy.

It's funny because rodents can't see colour so choosing the correct wire would've been a crap shoot lol
Will this series match the hilarity of Goof Troop?
...Of course not, but if we're lucky, it could end up being dang close to it.
Omnimega13 He honestly isn't that sweet of a prince to me as he was to everyone else, but his early days as a Grump were wonderful, especially during Goof Troop.

i'm assuming you're referring to DS2? Also, I agree.
No one cares about progress. This isn't an LP.
However, I agree that NES games tend to be better than modern garbage like DS2. The real good episodes are the one-offs though.
Mr. Rize AG DS2 ain't garbage, it's grumps who are garbage at it.
Daumier Yeeeaaah no. DS2 is just more modern generic fantasy slush that obviously must've hired goats as game designers. I didn't even finish that shit because of how incredibly boring and void of creativity it was.
Your picture suits your comment.
OMG I ACTUALLY DID SEND THIS GAME!! Guys I swear to holy GOD I really honestly did send the grumps this game! I did put my name so they've must've fucked up. :(
Actually I did. You can trust me. Because I sent it.
Case closed.
***** They are both lying I sent it.
Screw off guys :(
I did
Rick Grimes You couldn't even save Sophia how do you expect me to trust you.
Am I the only one who thought "this game is ridiculously fluid for a NES" ?
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as well. Guess it fits since Chip and Dale are super hyper chipmunks.
Chip and Dale 2, and DuckTales 2 are some of the most underrated and unnoticed NES games ever. Everyone always says Chip and Dale 1 and Ducktales 1 are so good, but so many people don't even realize there were sequels that were almost just as good as the originals.

Who else thinks that Capcom should give this game the Duck Tales: Remastered treatment?
One of my favorites through the childhood.
So big and so fun to play with a freind.
It's cool man. I'm pretty sure everyone was furry for Gadget.
In Russia there is a cult that worships gadget.
Wow, I used to play this as a kid and forgot all about it. Right in the nostalgies.
This looks like the smoothest NES game I've ever seen. I've never played it, but the controls look great.
Usually it's Dan who is the NES master but this time Arin knocked it out of the park.
I loved watching Chip 'n Dale when I was younger. -I got that Gadget joke Dan ;)
Not first or last
So poetic.... 10/10 would like again.
At least you aren't PressFartToContinue
Gamewiz W there is nothing wrong with that beautiful creature
ExplodedX So what you're saying is he shouldn't say anything or else people will like it, how sad.
Fun Fact: Chip and Dale's designs are based on Indiana Jones and Magnum P.I.
I now have the chip and dale theme song stuck in my head -.-
CHIP CHIP CHIP AND DALE! Rescue Rangers!!
Oh, I'm pretty sure I played this game a lot as a kid! I never owned it, but I had a friend who did. I had no idea it was even a rare game.
I remember playing a hacked cartridge of this as a kid where it had Mario and a pink, poorly-drawn Sonic.
Arin, if you like Gadget, go check out the Rescue Rangers stuff on Palcomix.
The fly's name is Zipper. Watching the same Rescue Rangers VHS over and over when I was a child taught me much.
5:46
I'm looking forward to watching this series Chip 'N Dale-ily!
*bad dum bum tss
That bomb section with Gadget was comedic gold!
I loved this show (chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers) as a kid. Looking forward to this playthrough.
Oh god this game brings back a lot of memories. When I was 4, I had to go to the hospital for an operation. When I was in recovery, all I did was play this game and watch Dark Crystal.
Haha, I guess I'm not the only one who had a crush on Gadget at that age.
CH-CH-CH-CHIP AND DALE! This was my favorite Disney Afternoon show next to Darkwing Duck! Gotta remember to watch it again sometime.
OMFG, I HAD A CRUSH ON GADGET TOO!
Why is this the one of the more valuable NES games...? >_>
Like the et game very few were sold
Games released after the release of SNES tended to sell poorly and became rare. This game wasn't released in the US until 1994, 3 years after the SNES took over.
I'd say it's expensive because of rarity, mixed in with general popularity for the fictional crime fighting chipmunks..
Because market forces are irrational as fuck.
IAmTheMikko
There are plenty of things that are rare, and they're not universally valuable.
I've had a crush on Gadget for the longest time. XD
i was eating cheerios at 9:08 PM while watching this
Rectangular burgers are all the rage now.
They're called Bügarz
I remember when my friends would say they had a crush on Gadget. I'd always look at them weird, asking "you know she's an animal right?" Apparently they were fine with it. Like what you like I guess.
After reading all those comments here I guess you´re the weird one :P
sebbe44441 If I'm weird for not wanting to fuck a mouse, I'm perfectly fine with that lol.
You know humans are animals right?
YellowLantern Luke i dont think it was meant as sexual, more as young boy see the cute girl down the street kinda crush.
phonzerelli...but its a mouse.
at 3:38 that insect wich is a *fly* it's called *zipper*
Arin: HEY!
Danny: Yo!
Jon: Wha'cha gonna do!
Let me dream gawddammit!!!
Sonic 06 Arin: "Can you believe these weirdos who are attracted to Sonic characters?"
Chap & Dale 2 Arin: "I had a crush on Gadget when I was young."
Yeeeep. Seems about right.
Okay, ya got Monty and Gadget right, but the fly's name is Zipper. All in all, pretty good.
Alright! got mah Skiddles, time to watch me some Game Grumps!
Btw Arin the first part is the pledge, the second part is the turn and the third part is the prestige
I honestly think the only reason im still subbed to game grumps is so I don't miss a guest grumps with Jon if they ever make it.
"Next time, Gadget."
Ha, nice. Also, everyone crushed on Gadget.
The Illusionist, that was the third magician movie, with Edward Norton.
Oooooh... I thought Arin had a crush on Inspector Gadget
chip n dale are my fave tv show when i was a kid
I really love watching these guys drunk
If only Arin could play this skillfully in Zelda or Pokémon...
Who's watching this shit in 2021 damn I love these bois
I see that and raise you watching in 2023
Randomly googled the price of this game. Game alone is around $300 but a sealed copy that I found on Ebay is about $3000 holy balls!

I fucking love the opening theme song to the Rescue Rangers show, it was my childhood jam.
There are ruuuumours of Chip and Dale Remastered revolving around WayForward.. Maybe at E3?
Ohhh Ilove this game! it's my fucking childhood dude!!
Also, that next time gadget pun was gold... I feel like it went unappreciated...
The theme song started playing in my head as soon as I saw the thumbnail.
Ch-ch-ch-ch-Chip & Dale
For those who care, this game costs anywhere from $100-200. VGA rated 90+ version is on ebay for over $3k
"My chipmunk could beat up your chipmunk."
Oh thank god, another series instead of a VS or one-off
Does anyone else think that sewer music sounds like the DK music from that ssbm stage?
I sent the game, thank you 2 for playing it! Means a lot.
