The yugo is not the worst car ever made. That would be the cybertruck. The thing about the yugo is how simple and tough it is. You could probably fix any problem it has with nothing but a ratchet set, and no matter what you do to it, it will be incredibly easy to fix compared to other cars.
The Yugo was a brilliant little car compared to all the other junk from the USSR during this time. Like a Yugo vs. Trabant 601 or a Zundapp. The Yugo is like a Rolls Royce.
@yesno5794 Yes! People from other parts of the world assume that the yugo is the worst because they hear about it the most, but really, they hear about it the most because it was the best.

The reliant Robins are legendary, they where built for the poor and they did the job, you could drive them on a learners licence if you blanked off the reversed gear, the reason they have 2 wheels at the back is for grip because people like Cole miners in the north (where it snows) brought them, driving a Robin seems rubbish now but back then it was ether that or walk up and down steep hills in the cold, rain and snow to work. The Reliant Robin in Top Gear was tampered with to purposefully make it more rollover prone for the sake of the spectacle and entertainment. Not saying the Robin was good. It very much wasn't, but it is *not* as prone to rollovers as Top Gear would have you believe. They will go up on two wheels if you push them hard enough, but actually getting them to roll onto their side or top is not that easy.
I think it's worth mentioning that Jeremy Clarkson himself said they had to heavily modify the Reliant Robin in order to get it to tip in that episode, it's actually a pretty well balanced vehicle stock, and when it does tip it usually just skids on the side panels. He actually wrote a whole article about how they faked it (which I would link, but I presume my comment would get filtered if I did so), and how he actually loved the car: "In fact, I like the Reliant Robin so much that when Richard Hammond, James May, Andy Wilman and I formed our new production company, I rushed out immediately and bought one as a company car. Interestingly, the other three did exactly the same thing. So now we have a fleet sitting in the executive car parking spaces at our offices and we love them very much. Especially the fact that they cost us less than £15,000. That’s £15,000 for four cars."
