I have silk sheets. I love how comfortable they are. Keeps you cool in summer and surprisingly warm in winter. My biggest beefs are the cost (expensive), and anything you put on the bed slides off (so slippery the pillows slide off or the flat sheet itself). Also you have to take more care when you wash them. I wash mine in cold water and baby shampoo. But overall I prefer silk to any other fabric for bedsheets.
I don't have silk sheets, but I would like to try a silk pillowcase. Would you recommend one with a zipper, or does the standard style pillowcase with no zipper work just as well? I'm worried about it "slipping" around my pillow if I get one without a zipper to hold it in place. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank-you!
@@michellekelly2937 I would’nt get zippers because the zips can break. I just get the envelope one’s personally. Love silk My lily silk pillow cases didn’t have zippers

I am careful when I put the pillow into the case, and I make sure to handwash. Next time I will try one without a zipper. I appreciate your input. I do really want to try LilySilk. The pillowcases I purchased are 22 momme because that was my only option from that company. I wonder what 19 momme would be like. Is it worth it to get the higher momme. What momme did you purchase from LilySilk? Thanks again. : )
@@michellekelly2937 I need them to be lighter and a bit more breathable because I’m a hot sleeper so I went for the 19 momme for mine. I’m thinking about getting sheets and a duvet cover now I just love the softeness and smoothness against my skin.

For me, the fitted sheet stayed in place - the mattress was 12 inches thick

My lily silk pillow cases didn’t have zippers
I like how they are not too freezing cold when you first touch them they warm to skin nicely
