Stalking needs to be a crime in itself and maybe there should be a stalker registry. It’s predatory behavior and it’s highly indicative of intent to commit an even worse offense as seen here. The trauma inflicted by this one event will take years to recover from and will likely affect everyone involved with each of these people. It creates invisible damage that can ripple through all of us in time and space like a radioactive bubble.
That’s why I’m always friendly to my neighbors. Your neighbors become your family and you never know if one day, one can save your life. Shout out to that super mom ❤
Those screams are different they are like literal cries and shrieks for help. I’m almost 40 but I still remember hearing this girls voice when I was about 18,19. I had just come home it was around midnight. I was standing in my mom’s doorway and as we were talking I heard a scream like never before it sent chills through my body. I looked out her window and saw this dude with a girl over his shoulder trying to run off. I ran outside as fast as I could my door opening, me yelling, and her fighting made him drop her. As many years go by I still see this night vividly. I also remember NOBODY else came outside to help smh Even after Police showed up
It's 2024. Stalking needs to be taken seriously. Why tf does someone have to die before the predator is punished for their creepy behavior? Thank God momma was there to help ❤
What do you mean? Are you saying it's not taken seriously? Are you saying the response from the neighbours and mother and police suggests that they don't care?
Fr. All too often it takes people dying for the systems to take the cases seriously. For example, I’ll never understand why attempted murder does not carry the same sentences as murder
Hats off to the neighbours who all roped in, you have no idea how important it is to have the courage to open your door and respond to a situation when you can hear someone in distress. I was attacked in my apartment up 3 flights of stairs, slammed against walls outside my neighbours doors and nobody came out. I managed to get out on my own. Thank goodness she had support that day
I'm so sorry you had to go through that alone, and the aftermath of realizing no one came to your aid. It really just goes to show how extraordinary it is when people do step in. Also, there is a huge freaking problem with men attacking women in/near their freaking homes.
Former coworker, that’s disturbing, thinking he was just a random guy but he was someone she once worked with someone she probably wouldn’t expect, be careful guys.
most crimes like this are going to be people that your familiar with or they're familiar to you. "We covet what we see everyday." Random people don't go around doing random things, people need emotions tied to things and then rationalize it. In his head he probably thought he was in love with her and just "had to have her". He's mental and a criminal and needs to be off the streets. But my point is, the people closest to you are the ones with the potential for a motive against you. I don't mean that to be constantly paranoid but it's something to consider.

Having a mom who went after him and 2 neighbors... that knowledge should help. Imagine the poor children who's parents fail to intervene deliberately and even traffic them.
This is the kind of news we need to hear all the time. Everyday there are heroes, great moms, great dads and great neighbors that step up. The stories are out there and should be the focus and not the exception.
Great neighbors, for sure. Must be old school; I mean, they must all know each other beyond the hazy his/her name is, works at, is home around, sort of details.
I do not understand that "traumatized for life" thing. I was severely beaten and left for dead by three thugs when I was young. (I'm 70 now.) I was never traumatized. I've always thought of it as just a bad day in my life, and a lesson.
Yeah if it was murikkkan cops all they would have done is arrested the older woman because she is the darkest of the three and then sent the daughter away with the kidnapper.

Stalking needs to be a crime in itself and maybe there should be a stalker registry. It’s predatory behavior and it’s highly indicative of intent to commit an even worse offense as seen here. The trauma inflicted by this one event will take years to recover from and will likely affect everyone involved with each of these people.
