I should do one of these myself. I'd blow that collection away. You have some real gems in there and some real duds. I'm a hard core collector, my cd purchases on the year of 2023 is up to 206. Yes! Im addicted.
206! That's a lot. I'm only at 330 this year. I need to step up my game to compete with you. 😇 In all seriousness, I think you should make videos. You might enjoy it! 👍
Lots of great CDS 954 is a big collection to me ! No shock the BOC is my favorite part especially on your feet and on your knees and secret treaties . I would suggest ETI live the symbol remains and revolution by night . How is taking the month off from collecting going ? I failed this month and got some good eBay deals lol
I’m always blown away by your musical open-mindedness and the variety in your music collection. You have Adele and Backstreet Boys but I also know you have black metal CDs which is awesome 😎🎸🤘
I think due to the clear appreciation you have for music of all flavours is what makes this particular collection enjoyable to sit and watch because there are genuinely surprising artists that pop out every so often that I wouldn't expect to see. It had me wondering, what is your criteria for an album to be a part of your CD collection if you have one? Are you looking for albums with certain hit songs on them and just buying or do you try before you buy or is it something completely different? Also with an ever-growing collection, how do you manage to find more space for more music? At the moment I'm in a bit of a limbo state where I either buy more CD's that I don't really have space for or I find a way to make appropriate space for CD's I don't have yet and I'm unsure of what to do in terms of displaying them. I have a similar problem with my books as I don't even really have a shelf for them they just sort of sit in a pile.
Thanks Mario, I apprecitate that! Some of the questions you have are some I plan to answer in a future video about how I decide on what albums I buy for the collection. That should a fun thing to talk about. When it comes to space, yeah I'm struggling as well. 😅 I hope to put up more shelves at some point but right now I'm using whatever free space I have. (You'll see as this series progress.)
I've got quite a few of the albums in your collection Bryers, but the Bill Evans album is fabulous so my favourite of this selection! Did you know that there is a sister album recorded on the same date? Its titled "Sunday at the Village Vanguard": definitely worth your time if "Waltz for Debbie" does it for you 😊
Listen you seriously need a proper shelving rack for your ever increasing CD collection, That shelf you have there is warping with the weight of all those CDs its just NOT adequate enough.
Imo Let There Be Rock is the raunchiest rock lp ever. The thing about taste, or variety, is i don't get how musicos can love one genre only. How do they know they dont like something if they dont sit down and listen to a full or at least most of one album?
I guess I'm a hater. Never bought anything from The Beatles and never will. But the same can be said about many others - I never cared about Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and other big names just because they are big. I never jump on a hype train.
@@BryersMusicShowcase I like some Queen. I have "A kind of magic" and "Innuendo". Would like to get some more (Jazz, The Works and The Miracle). What definitely I won't buy is the "News of the world". We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You are so overplayed in many sports events, that it's unbearable.
Its a shame you won’t ever buy News of the World as I think its better than the two albums by Queen that you do own. As Bryer said, very cool deep tracks and much more to it than those 2 songs you think are overplayed.
Hi! i love ABBA, i love Phil Collins and others!😃

You have an impressive wide taste in music for someone so young. Clearly a real music lover. Thanks for sharing your collection with us.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 😄

So far so good. There were a couple moments I nearly caved but I resisted. I'm not failing this time! 😅
Awesome mate loving the music collection.
Thanks!! 👍

Sweet! I’ll remember that! 👍
From AC DC to Adele .... that's a wide range of bands!
I know right!!! Many surprises in my collection. 😄
I don’t know if I’ll ever make it to 100 CD’s to be honest.
That’s what I said back in 2016. Now look at me 😅
you need to strengthen the shelf, it is bent and may break!!!

You think I don't know? Renovations will happen soon.
@@BryersMusicShowcase Excellent News 👍

Exactly! 😃
I have about 150
That’s a good amount! 👍👍
Is there still cd stores in the us
Yes, there are. 🙂

Wow! Not even Queen?!!! 😱 In all seriousness, I can understand. I'm a similar way when it comes to TV shows. No worries. 🙂👍

That’s fair, I will say News of the World has some great deep cuts. To me at least.

Wow, aren't you some kind of special, huh?
