The quality of your videos always makes me think you have a fuckton of subs and always look down and get confused as to why you don't have a million, LOL! Love your videos.
Ok so I watched your recent live-stream this morning and you mentioned you had a Christmas themed video coming today… nothing says Christmas like the struggles and misfortune of children 😂😂
13:00 The Sims repair nearly everything with a hammer, but a computer gets poked with a screwdriver. The willing suspension of belief is strong in this one. So, while as a professional musician and hot tub enthusiast I needed Late Night in my Sims 3, I knew right off never to over-analyze their playing. It would be no better than poking my keyboard with a screwdriver or hitting the shower with a hammer.
I think you are underestimating fishing as an income source. As long as you fish in those "crowded" fishing spots, and use bait (which you could buy in the grocery store after selling a couple flowers or harvest yourself with that mod) you will catch a lot of fish quickly, and with bait you can catch fish of a higher skill than intended. After you get to level five of fishing you unlock fishing with live bait, which practically unlocks every fish in the neighborhood, most notably the robotfish, lobster and deathfish, which can easily sell for good money! It is way more effective than guitar or gardening, and the level increases quite fast when you catch fish of the same or higher level than your fishing skill is currently at. The trick is to only fish for 5 fish (by pulling the action bar) since if you fish 6 fish or more the crowded spots become less active, and you get less fish... Whenever I start a new save file I always have one of my sims fish as a sidehustle, and I often end up with more money from one night of fishing deathfish than from one day at a lvl 10 career! All that being said, loved the video, and love your content in general! It always annoys me how little the the kids and toddlers can interact in the game without mods.
@@BunE22 Some actions can be adjusted to last for a certain time. For example, when reading skill books they read them indefinetly by default, but if you go to the icon, there are lines attached to the icon so you can drag it out, and they will read it until they give a skill point. For fishing, the lines can be dragged out to either "fish until 5 caught" or "fish until gained skill point". Other examples include working from home on the computer (different amounts of hours), playing chess, working out and many more!
20:30 With Nrass you should be able to see the hidden skills/traits. I've noticed you never use that, and I use that a lot, but also you mentioned in your last stream how you modded the Sim in CAS but while I will CAS the crap out of NPC Sims I almost always only ever mod my active Sims with plastic surgery for money at the hospital. So interesting how different people play, and what a vast array of different play styles are possible.
And add a source of fun. But really doing the whole gardening thing is a waste of time for something like this. Just harvest some food for emergency eating on day 1 and do collecting for early money between skills and needs.
At long last you see the value of the firehouse. :D Can you put the mods you used in the description/dooblydoo? This is nuts, love it. Edit: Have you ever played a homeless fireperson? They can live at the firehouse.
"Sam" means alone in Polish. I couldn't believe the coincidence when I heard that name 🤣 (I saw people pointing that out already so I'm just gonna add that even the form of the word is correct, as "sam" means "he is alone" while "sama" means "she is alone")
Is there a way to do this without using mods? Just curious! Like can I make a household with only a child and toddler? Or do I need to add a random adult at first and then delete them?
the game wont let you make a household without an adult without mods you can make a household with with an adult and teen then kill the adult to have a teen living alone without adult supervision the other issue is the child can feed and play with the toddler but cant pick them up or change there diaper
You could but you'll run into the issue of the child being completely unable to care for the toddler, children can't really interact much with toddlers unfortunately. You also wouldn't be able to leave the toddler alone on the lot and I don't think the child could call for a babysitter. Lots of issues :(
Me living alone with a cat in uni
Sam means literally alone/by himself in Polish. You've chosen a perfect name in my opinion 🥹
Anita Parent has got to be one of the best names yet
pre-series supernatural:
That was my first thought when I heard the name Sam lol
The quality of your videos always makes me think you have a fuckton of subs and always look down and get confused as to why you don't have a million, LOL! Love your videos.
Noah Parents, Ryan..
I already did Noah Guardian for an orphan before and didn’t want to repeat 😂
Me opening youtube: please tell me theres a new Ryan video
Me reading the title: dear god what kind of fucked up situations are we creating here
"Sam" means "alone" in Polish so it fits :)

Why not take sims to the libary for having them learn skills faster? I love how helpful the libary is with skills just like that.
I lowkey wish we could get a series around Anita and Sam. This was actually kind of wholesome.

Brilliant! Thank you for sharing ❤
What do you mean by pulling the action bar? Do you mean canceling the action?

@SamuelHDyga I never knew that, thanks!

love these videos!
EVERY TIME I TAKE A NOTIFICATION FROM YOU I RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN TO THE VIDEO
I literally was just thinking the other day that u should try this. I’m so excited lol
Maybe you need multiple subway stations across the neighborhood to play for tips?
I will just try to imagine that you gave those poor kids a bunk bed😂😂
Hahaha why did I forget they exist?
Always forgetting the sprinkler lol it would help gardening so much.
And add a source of fun. But really doing the whole gardening thing is a waste of time for something like this. Just harvest some food for emergency eating on day 1 and do collecting for early money between skills and needs.
What mod did you use to let you leave the toddler on the lot alone?
Noel Parent maybe?
Yes love this idea so much
I really enjoyed this vid! I was a little sad when it ended because I could watch so much more.
It's been a while since I played sims 3, but can't you use the kid stove to cook?
Still
You got soo much done nice house
Noel Parents or if you want to be cringe about it low-key name the kid Sans. Because it's French for "without"
Yes it happens a lot in 3rd world countries

Poor little Anita and Sam ❤❤❤
Which mods allow you to do this?
sam actually means 'alone' in polish, so it's not THAT much of a stretch 😭
Try the baby grill mod in sims 2
Can you put some of the mods you used for this video? I kinda want to do a super sim with this start
Is there a way to do this without using mods? Just curious! Like can I make a household with only a child and toddler? Or do I need to add a random adult at first and then delete them?
