People saying Traveler defeated Scara with the "power of friendship" but here they were not lending him actual power, but only "wisdom and guidance" on how to stop him, he learnt instead of of being buffed, there's a difference
This exactly, and it was consistent with what the akasha system was designed to do, so it didn't feel like magical powers out of nowhere. This was their best archon quest to date
All that learning experience won't matter anything against the next villain/harbinger tho. They'll be back to being the underdog as if nothing ever happened.
@@FunkyEspelhoCat You don't realise what actually happened here do you? Traveler was physically strong enough to fight Scaramouche, but as he was fighting a God he needs more than just physical capabilities, he needs more technique and experience to fight a God. As it was seen in Inazuma Archon Quest, Traveler's first fight with Ei ended up with a brutal defeat as Traveler wasn't even able to attack Ei. But in the rematch he was actually keeping up with her, but that still wasn't enough to beat her.
The thing is he's strong enough physically to fight Gods,(if you think holding back that God Hand without using elemental powers wasn't badass af and shows his real strength then maybe you just hate the Traveler. Then there's no point of this comment.) What he lacks is experience to fight a God, which he learnt here. Yes he will still face difficulties in fighting other Harbingers, but this battle experience will remain with him, unless Hoyoverse tries to ruin the Traveler to show other characters cooler which they somehow love to do quite alot. Logically speaking this fight should help him alot in his future endeavours. At the end of the day, it's all on Hoyoverse on how to show the Traveler, one time they show him holding a God's Hand without using elemental powers and one time he wasn't fast enough to save Nahida from a bunch of Eremites.

Was something he didn't know, he won due to experience and technique i mean this was obvious in the ei fight, first fight he couldn't do anything, second fight he was making her use more power and make her actually deflect his/her attacks instead of just striking back

The last cutscene… I may have bias, but even if I didn’t like him, the desperation and pain in his eyes and his voice moved me. For the first time in a while, I felt compassion towards him. He’s just trying to find a place to fit in. One of, (if not my favorite), characters.

This boss fight was something personal for me, cause it was Scara's fault that my boy Teppei died. 😥
I still miss Tep-Tep.
That was Signora's fault, actually. Scara was just helping her out, the scheming to prolong the conflict was done by her.
I don't understand why people assume he killed Teppei, he straight up says "I'm obviously not the mastermind behind this." All he did against Teppei personally was mocking him for his actions.

@@goodolblues9213 That is walking on thin ice of the Traveler to hold friendship with Childe. He still is a Fatui Harbinger with many crimes and war crimes behind his back, yet, if he is nice, then the fandom accepts.
I do not know if we can actually call this hypocrisy, but if I were Traveler, I could see the point in not being hostile to someone who is friendly to me. Even though he is supposed to be my enemy.
I've watched the last cutscene so many times yet it still makes me cry
I have two questions about this scene:
1. Why did Scaramouche assumed the the Dendro gnosis is with Nahida while the Akasha is still active?
2. How did Tighnari wear the Akasha terminal?
1. Nahida is the first Akasha Terminal so it would make sense she would have it, also he would have been told by the sages.
2. What do you mean? Tighnari always had one, everyone in sumeru that is from the city or is connected to the akadeimya has one
to add to asnwer of number by Jowell, before he was a forest watcher he was (still is) a scholar of Pardis Dhyai, all scholars have a terminal.
If you're asking because his ears are on his head I assume the Akasha Terminal just connects to your mind and it's just convenient to put it next to where your ears would be
The Akasha Terminal connects to the mind, not hearing. That spot on your head is just the most convenient place to wear it. (Or this is what I assume is correct)

I would assume never going back to being empty without his "heart"
He means that he'll never go back to being as weak as he was as just Scaramouche because he's ascended to godhood in a way and he doesn't want to give up that power. (Im assuming it's cause of his mommy issues lol)

Can someone tell me if I am being nuts or what, but this is like the only boss of Genshin that defeated by itself. I do not know if it was a bug, but I was clearly loosing and the boss being too strong for me, but the PUFF: the final cutscene and found out I basically won. Wtf? I had the impression that plot cutscenes were more important than the game itself

This upcoming statement comes from a event lol
The OST that plays when they first enter that area, is the same as the OST after Mona teleports Fischl and the Traveler away from Scaramouche, and this event happened way before the release of Sumeru, i like the OST comeback!
