    On a samsung smart tv, instead of unplugging, you can hold down the power button on the remote for 10 seconds and it should work too.

    Thank-you! I unplugged, and then ended up with some info on the left top corner that was rolling constantly. I forced stop, cleared cache, and went back. It is fixed on my TV ! Thank-you again.

    Using a fire tv stick, I just unplugged the fire stick and plugged back in after a minute and cleared up the problem. Thanks.

    Thanks for this, I've never had this happen before. BTW I have a TCL 4k TV and all you have to do is hold the power button down, say yes to shutdown; you don't have to wait 10 minutes you can immediately power the TV back on and the big screen is back for TH-cam

    I have a SAMSUNG, and I tried unplugging the tv and holding down the power button on the remote and NOTHING WORKED, after reading through the comments I saw where clearing the cache might help. THANK YOU SIR, clearing the cache worked !!!!!!!!!!!!

    The issue I'm having is that any content that asks for permission comes up like this. It's been weeks and I used to be able to fix it with just the reset on the youtube app, no need to reset the TV and all that, but it slowly started becoming more frequent again. Nothing fixes it now. It's a bug within youtube premium. Another conflict I found was my phone. When I'd use my phone to control my tvs youtube app it would revert right back as well.

    Anyone that is using the comment "hold down power button for 10 seconds for samsung tvs" turn your tv off first THEN hold down your power button for 10 seconds. I was holding down 10 seconds to shut off and to turn on.......tried 3 times before I just shut it off and then held it down for 10 seconds and it fixed it.
