@@jaeneke heavy car, street tyres and they are not gonna get warm in this weather so no real reason to lower them on a daily car and he mentioned he didn't change the pressure before going on track.

That's not quattro weather, solid freezing temperatures and a good layer of ice and snow! You should go to one of Audi driving events in northern Sweden in the winter and drive on a frozen lake...

What an absolute unit. I was gonna say "2 tons" and then you showed it on screen. Also, those tire pressures and the fronts heating up (60+ degrees in these conditions). My first lap on the Nords was in the rain, on a motorcycle, must be 30 years ago (probably). The entrance was at the old paddock, people were waiting for dry weather, and I was sort of cruising because I had no idea what was around the next corner. Good days. I plan on visiting next year. If and when I do, and you're feeling lonely again, I'll gladly take a couple of passenger laps with you. :-)
My last lap in 2019 was in heavy rain. Robert was out with the Cayman GTS as well. I really miss the ring, hopefully I will be able to go back this Autumn.
Haven't seen the footage from the channel for some period, and that's amazing how you redesigned yourself, I mean, that's a great motivation to do sport. I thought for a minute that you've probably dropped with driving through Nürburgring and turned to jogging along the ring. Seesh, that must've taken lotsa work, great!

Oh yeah, British summers last about the same amount of time it takes Misha Meister to blast round in an RS6. @Misha could you try doing a lap really really slowly in the Dacia, maybe stopping for Pancakes and Pancake stops, and we'll report back on whether there's any improvement in UK weather thus proving the quantum entanglement theory.
I really like the combo of a proper family car and also something you can have some fun on the track... I know its not super nimble and agile, but still gives good dose of emotions :)
having watched dozens of your videos, this is the first i'm commenting on. love the channel, the content (esp the more technical videos), etc. also, love this video, it's like afternoon tea. slower, a bit quieter, but still at pace on the 'ring. i really enjoyed it.
I know i usually feel lonely in my car when driving, no friends and no girlfriend, thats why i removed my back seat and got 2 recaro pole positions in the front, 1 for me 1 for my dog.😉 Nice drive in the rain, these heavy cars are so deceiving, they have alot of power but due to the weight and sound insulation the sense of speed (and sense of danger) are numbed down, so it feels fast and it also doesn't. 😁

I have an A6 C7 quattro 2017, not an RS6, but I call bad weather, quattro weather too. Might not be the fastest car in comparison to other fast cars/super cars, but that’s just bragging rights down the pub. In my view Audi has “that” something aluring about the RS cars that just does it for me.
Fascinated by the tire pressures and temperature changes throughout the lap and even through certain long corners. Interesting to see how they change so dynamically even on a wet day. What tire is on the car?
@@TheEryk03 most manufacturers recommend in higher tyrepressures for high speed. So that the centrifugal force wont affect the strucural integrity to much

0w30 can take 5 minutes at 150°C before completely burn out. If I've had this car, or whatever car on this track, i would've changed the oil after the track day.
Impressive car and engineering, but seems like runs pretty hot? If thats the coolant temp I’m seeing in bottom left of cluster it got up to 250* F, seems hot for a cool cloudy rainy drive no?
From my own experience I can say, that the RS6 C8 is a perfect daily car. The fuel consumption however, is ridiculous on the track. You won't do more than 4 Laps with a 75 liter tank.
Looks like the other drivers are simply indicating that they will not be moving over immediately probably because they are sacred to change their line because its wet.
i saw you were going in manual mode instead of just using sport, and you were riding the limiter som etimes for seconds before shifting, do u use that so it holds a gear through a turn and doesnt upshift? why do u use manual infront of sport?
Nice driving. 4 wheel drive only an advantage under power, absolutely no advantage under braking, possibly a disadvantage under braking due to the additional weight of the AWD drive train.
