In this video I'm attempting one of toughest trails you never knew even existed with my good friend John Patrick aka RDE 2 ROK in his 2 door JK. This is my first trail of Easter Jeep Safari 2023 in Moab Utah and I haven't driven the Jeepster since December.
Also - doing the toughest Jeep trail in all of Moab Utah right off the gate on the first day also wasn't the best move. See what happens!

Coyote is a blast. We took the TJ on 35's and some ifs Toyotas through. Such a fun time when you have the trail to yourself for the day.
That face you made when the break happened was priceless. Hope you got her going again

We’ve ran this trail a few times; definitely my favorite one out there, fun and non stop challenge. Our crew usually makes the loop in about 2.5 hours. It’s funny the downhill section on the backside is as challenging as the climb to the top it all a tire placement game! Very underrated trail that’s getting to be much more well known now.

dude - u should show the repair video/process of the things that break on your rig during the trails. that would be some interesting content for your channel imo. id like to see for sure. im always interested on what exactly breaks and how to fix it.
The splines in the CV on the axle shaft got messed up. Couldn’t get it fixed. Just threw a stock spare shaft in. Wasn’t too exciting

We ran it last year. I didn’t think it was that tough. Next time I’ll give rear steer a try.
We ran it a few years back with some leaf sprung Toyotas! Good trail.
Hey Marvin! Would you have been able to pop out your front driveline then use 4 low for the gearing?

Ran it a couple years ago it’s definitely a good one. Back in the day Upper Proving grounds was ran it in early 2000 but I think it got closed
Great video as usual. Dumb question: WHERE can I get those BF Goodrich decals for my hood? The dealer where I just bought my KM3's never came thru.
Re: Lockers-- Whenever the local trails get boring just try runnin' 'em w/o lockers for a whole new experience! Retrains you on tire placement and momentum real quick.

Same. Although they make them that fail in the locked position but no one selects that option apparently

Hard to hear that popping sound of something breaking in your rig. Hopefully not too serious, so you can get it fixed at get back at it in Moab.🤙

Splines in the CV on the passenger side stripped out. Front dig was a bad call in that spot.

why not better u-joints? my old school super joints have never let me down. they were part of Carl's original design tho, not the current supply
