I loved this book. It was tough to get into but I'm so pleased I stuck with it. For me its up there with LOTR and ASOIAF. Really looking forward to the next two. Personally I think crobaring black or asian folks into middle earth is the wrong way to go. Let it be European and create new African, Asian and middle eastern set fantasy.
@@CandorCandor It took me several tries to get going as well, the first few pages are horrific if you dwell into them in your mind, which is what I always do. Glad I picked it up again and again, sometimes after months and many other novels. I'm nearing the end now, and glad I kept with it.

Agreed. I absolutely loved this book!
Amazing book. The writing is superb
I tried several times and kept having nightmares. Maybe I should keep trying.

@brianeisemann6352 👋, I looked at the book yesterday. Thank you for letting me know. I'll try again, and I shall let you know. Namaste 🙏
The camera operator is a total wingman. They're cropping out James's distracting stray dreadlock, sticking straight up in the air.
It seemed like a better option that stopping the show! ;)
What an embarrassing example affirmative action.
