- Hollywood heartthrob Sam Heughan plays a game where he has to choose which situations he finds to be the most romantic. During the game, the Love Again star reveals that he loves being the big spoon, finds working out together to be romantic, and that he finds rom-coms to be more intimate than horror movies. Sam also describes what he looks for in a potential partner, adding that he likes someone who can pick him up and throw him, and that he's open to anything in the bedroom.

I agree. It’s one thing to ask some fun questions, it’s another to ask very pointed personal creepy questions- the guy was obviously flirting with him and Sam knows how to handle how he responds to people with total neutrality on his face, but I know how I would feel if somebody was asking me those kinds of questions - it’s tacky to say the least. I don’t mean to be dramatic, but it’s essentially inappropriateness, boundary violations behavior disguised as an interview.

BUT his statement still speaks to your point. you’re 100% right that it’s wrong for anyone to make assumptions about another person’s orientation. even if he wasn’t straight, perhaps he’s out to his friends and family but doesn’t feel the need to make it a big public thing. to keep his love life private, because god only knows how little privacy he has. the group of people who targeted and harassed him about this clearly caused him pain and trauma. i have no idea what his preferences are but i do know that it’s his business and his business alone. for the OP to presume that he’s a closeted man “slowly coming out” is wrong not just because Sam said it was false but because as you implied, it’s not our place to make assumptions or speculate.
