Off screen, a guy in Michigan gear (not a uniform) stole it back and warded off a few Ohio State players/coaches from stealing the flag again. It turns out the guy in the Michigan clothes who stole the flag back was former NFL wide receiver Jason Avant (and former Michigan player) who now works as a sideline reporter for Michigan's radio network. Just a wild story from a wild weekend of college football.
Ohio State has planted a flag at UofM stadium, Michigan has planted it at OSU. It's gone back and for for decades upon decades. So this time OSU was just salty because they were supposed to be good this year and still couldn't manage to beat an unranked Michigan team. 4 wins in a row for Michigan! Let's GO BlUE!
